This is the most affordable of the leatherman tools that is really suited for every day outdoor/industrial work. It is overkill and almost unnecessarily large for the occasional/casual user. The replaceable wire cutters are a nice touch, and incredibly functional. The lack of a spring, however, makes it quite cumbersome to strip more than a few wires. The knife blades are ridiculously sharp, and despite repeated hard use, there's no play or wobbling of the knives when being used. It's just a typical, industry leader grade quality multitool from Leatherman. The main things that make this less suitable for occasional casual use are the size and the lack of a spring mechanism, which comes into play when you're doing repetitive motions, like stripping a lot of wires, but it also can be beneficial if you're really trying to grab something and pry it out. Excellent multitool for the money, top quality construction as one would expect from an original leatherman, and a great entry level industrial tool. Not recommended for casual/occasional home users - the WINGMAN model is a much better option.

Good product, but it is clear that my 25 year old Leatherman Wave was made with more care and better materials. While the Rebar offers a good selection of tools, the one downside is that they are all 'inside' so you have to open the main unit to unfold them. I like how I can access the knives and saw on my older model with only one hand and without opening the tool. What can I say, times change...

Ottimo Leatherman, di costruzione meno robusta sicuramente non adatto agli stessi impieghi più gravosi del fratello maggiore Super Tool 300 che possiedo ma è ciò di cui avevo bisogno. Più portatile, leggero e compatto per uso giornaliero e non lavorativo. Da collezionista non posso che consigliarlo agli appassionati da aggiungere alla collezione accanto ai fratelli ST300 e Crunch e a chi cerca il suo primo multitool. Ottima manifattura, lame affilate e precisione millimetrica dei dettagli. Leatherman, il top!

Im a fan of multi tools. I like a swiss army knife for daily problems but the leatherman is a good piece of kit. Got it for work where it does just fine but it has excelled outdoors. Went on a hunting trip recently where a friend forgot their butchering kit so we broke down a whole red deer with the thing. The saw managed the ribs just fine and the quartering was no issue for the knife. Incredibly sharp blade that really holds its edge. Only noteworthy issue is it is a bit open to corrosion. Perhaps consider getting it powder coated. Great bit of kit. Likely can fix most unexpected problems.
