Affordable varroa mite treatment
I use this for treating beehives for varroa mites. It has worked very well so far. It is a great value for the price. The 2 pound bag will last for many treatments. Great value for beekeepers looking for an affordable treatment option.

Removes Red Clay Stains
I have Georgia red clay on about everything in the yard and oxalic acid helped remove it from concrete, stucco and wood steps. I used a 1:16 (1c/1g) ratio and rolled the solution on the affected areas. After letting it sit for 5-10 minutes, I brushed it then rinsed it off. It worked great for painted stucco and treated wood steps. The concrete will lighten somewhat and that may be due to either the strength or that I don't need to leave it on as long. It truly is a bleach to wood and concrete. On hot days, you need to keep the affected area wet until you brush/rinse. For mud on jeans or cotton pants, I rinsed off the dirt and mud. Then I mixed 1 tsp to OA to 2 gallons of water and soaked the clothes for about 20 minutes in a bucket, then brushed the stains away. For very heavy stains I resoaked and brushed again in the same water. Afterwards I loaded them into the washing machine with other clothes. This diluted mixture did not change the colors on any the clothes.

Works amazingly well on iron stains
I have a high iron content in my well water. After getting a filtration system that solved the problem, I had to deal with the iron stains on shower tile, toilet bowls, and sinks. I mixed up some oxalic acid at a 1:16 ratio (actually used 1 Tbsp per cup of water), put it in a pump sprayer, and sprayed the shower tile. I walked away for a while and when I came back the tile looked like new! Not a hint of discoloration. So I sprinkled a small amount (probably about a Tbsp) in the toilet bowl and let it sit. Abracadabra, the stain disappeared. I wish I’d known about this is my previous house when I had badly rust stained toilet bowls. This stuff really works! Just be careful when mixing it that you don’t inhale the powder, it will make you cough and sneeze. This stuff is worth every penny.

This stuff WORKS!!!!
When I was building my deck, I cut off part of the metal roof on the existing building to connect the deck patio overhang. When I did that little metal shavings got wet from a small rain and created the black spots you see all over my unstained deck. It would not come out with a pressure washer or anything. This stuff did the trick in less than 10 minutes. Here's what I did. Wore a mask, long sleeves, pants, socks and shoes and used rubber gloves. Got a $12 sprayer at a local hardware store Filled with 1 gallon of warm water Mix in 8 oz of oxilac acid, closed the lid tight and shook it to mix Sprayed solution lightly covering each board until it was noticeably wet I covered the entire deck and by the time I was finished the other side had already cleared up completely (about 2 or 3 minutes) I bought a hard bristle broom and lightly brushed the boards but really i didn't have too. The spots just disappeared as you can see from the pictures I included. Amazing stuff.

Best fence and deck cleaner out there
I really like this product, which I never even heard of and accidently discovered here on Amazon. I've used the deck cleaners from the big box stores but none of them came close to what this product did. Night and day difference, trust me. Mind you, unlike the cleaners you can get from the local store, this is an acid based big boy cleaner you need to be careful using. Overall, a great product that has multiple uses.

Cleans and eats rust if used properly!
Great to remove rust and scale from metals. I use it to restore old tools that have rusted and that I pick up at garage sales and yard sales. Some of the older tools are just better and this acid works wonders to remove rust and save you labor. Be sure to understand how to use, and if necessary watch youtube videos for a better understanding of what this can do for you. Please be sure to use protective equipment when using this product. Remember- this is an ACID, and it will burn you and cause damage/injury if used improperly! Be smart and be safe! Do not use if you are not familiar with using strong acid based cleaners and for gods sake, NEVER mix this with any other cleaning product! Acids do not mix with many other cleaners and can produce DEADLY fumes. Be sure to neutralize after cleaning and use proper clean up methods. Left over residue can cause damage to you if mixed with other cleaners. Works excellent when used as designed. Will strip down to original metal in short order.

Nice job on Mohagany
After removing 5 trees that had been trashing my deck for years, I power washed it, then sanded the mahogany wood 1st with an 80 grit which did nothing, then a 36 grit which got the the results I wanted. But all the years of grim from the trees penetrated the wood. I heard about this acid and gave it a try. Did a great job. I almost wished I did it one more time. I used 1/2 the bag in 2 gallons of water in a sprayer. Photos are in order, before bleach, after bleach, after using Cabot's Australian timber oil with tint.

Thumbs up
Great product, multiple purchases. This is the only oxalic acid i have used, removes rust stains just fine, and balances wood pH.
