I'm not a big iron-man fan but you don't have to be for this, aesthetically it ticks all the boxes more HG Wells style rarther than all smooth nano tech star trek style, the sensor works great when on any surface to activate the lights, but to activate it by touching the reactor requires a decent smack. Solid built works great looks great whether your a fan or not.

Being a big Marvel and Iron-man fan I ordered this Arc reactor light as a gift for someone equally as enthusiastic. Came packaged well however no actual seal on the product box, so could have been opened and taken out before. The unit itself looks amazing and is well built and attention to detail is really good. Feels robustly built and has a nice display stand to house the unit, setting up is very straight forward, has a usb c port for power and is supplied with a usb cable. This unit deserves 5 stars but I encountered the following issues. The unit had dirt and surface scratches which seemed like it was taken out before, there were finger prints on the stand unit and scratches. The remote control had marks on it and didn't work unless you stood less then a metre directly I front of it. Advertised as having a keyring gift which was missing. I decided to email and reached out to the company first explaining my issues and provided them with pictures. They replied saying that units aren't sealed and that the unit that I ordered doesn't come with the free gift keyring. They explained that the remote is only meant to work in direct line of sight and within a metre! As for the scratches and dirt that some imperfections are expected during manufacturing process was the reply. After about three emails with no resolution, I then contacted Amazon to get a resolution. I really wished I could have given this a solid 5 stars as it deserves it, but with the issues I encountered its 2 stars from me.
