Saved me money.
This was shipped quickly and installed easily. It was much harder to take the old one off than it was to put the new one on. I had to redo one connection because I didn't let the glue on the PCV pipe dry before the water was turned off. Good company and good product.

Was relatively easy to replace the old one whit this new one.
My 17 year old version of the exact same valve was in bad shape and leaking a bit but still worked. I bought this one just to add a few valves to make it more functional and not leak. I am not a plumber but was able to do all the work. I had to understand the different materials I was working with (PVC, CPVC, & brass) and how to interface them. But after some study and planing it was easy to do. It cost me a smidge under $200 to do the whole job. Two plumbers I had gotten quotes from wanted $450 and another wanted close to $600! So I am happy that I was able to do it myself, saved some money, it works how I wanted it to, and it does not leak. Hopefully I will get another 17 years of use out of this installation.

Unrivaled value
This was a lot cheaper on amazon than from the local irrigation supply store so I concerned it was a knock-off or something was wrong. But it’s the real deal. A diaphragm rattles on it when you unbox it, so don’t worry if you hear it that. That’ll firm up when mounted and under pressure. It’s very heavy so make sure you mount it with Schedule 80 pipe/fittings. Basic Sch40 may break from the weight. When you first turn the water back on, water will shoot out from under the bell housing. You may have a flash of worry that it’s broken, but the flush will stop when it’s fully pressurized. Make sure you follow your local mounting height code so as to keep your loved ones safe. Amazing value and heavy duty/legit product. Highly recommended.

Fixed my broken sprinkler system
Installed easily. Works as advertised. The old one didn't burst the way they usually do when it gets below freezing. The top "bell" and all the insides were fine. The collar on the bottom cracked. Never the less, product installed easily and is working. Lesson to me was make sure I properly drain before temps are below freezing. I thought I had, but I didn't...

Excellent hardware but needs screen
Lizards, insects, and even frogs tend to climb under the bell where excess water collects from operation of the valve. They get killed and stay inside the valve body when it operates. To prevent critters from getting in, install outdoor aluminum screen around the valve body (see pic). The manufacturer needs a bell with a screen as part of the bell. The delivery and the retailer were outstanding. Full happy marks to them!

Easy to install if you watch UTUBE videos.
If you cut each side of the PVC and use couplings on each side to reassemble. Works like a champ no problem. When in doubt on a new project use the net.

High quality, annoying so.
Annoyingly it hasn't broken yet. I hate the sprinkler system that came with our house. Two winters ago I didn't winterize the previous unit correctly, so it burst when temperatures dropped. I didn't want to replace it since the sprinklers are a royal pain to deal with every spring, but the wife had other ideas. Here I am a year later and it still works. Maybe if it broke I could convince her to let me rip out the sprinkler system. Sigh. Seriously though, this is a solid unit. Installation may require soldering, but then (if properly maintained) it will last for years.
