A simple reliable 1/2 Kw fan heater, others have noted a smell when first used, this is common with all devices from a Clothes Iron to a Hair Dryer. Perhaps a coating to a heated element after manufacture? The fan is a little noisy, nothing distracting but definitely present. Difficult to judge effectiveness as ambient temp, size of room etc are more important. I use it to keep a single room in a flat habitable and to remove humidity. It's a simple device and works well.

For it's price it's an excellent buy and performs very well. Heating your average size room inside ten minutes no sweat Now nice and warm.

Does its job, the control doesnt go all the way though and its quite noisy.. still a great purchase and keeps me warm.

I bought a few of these heaters for my work whilst our heating was being fixed. One of the plugs almost caught fire but I managed to pull it out in time, the plug was evidentally melted. Then another heater actually caught fire after being on for just a few minutes. This was in a GP surgery and happened whilst a nurse was with a patient. The flames almost catching our nurses legs. This should not have happened especially after only being on for a few minutes. I cannot find how to contact the supplier, if you could please contact me ASAP as this is extremely serious and theres a concern that more of your heaters are unsafe to use!

Less noise , portable and reliable

The best thing I ever got! I will say the control settings were easy to use as having the ability to move around the room. You will need to point it in a direction that will allow the heat output to get to you and the surrounding area. But apart from the that the Heat output is good and very durable

Noisy, only one fan speed, only way to make it quieter is to power off. Heat output ok. No idea how anyone can say it is quiet
