Had Good Expectations from Reviews, Still Pleasantly Surprised
My wife and I got this because of the price, and because - at the risk of sounding pretentious - we needed something to handle cleaning our foul-smelling tap water. The unit has a very unique wood-lam wrap on the handle that looks cool too. As for the filter, some of my draw was the somewhat unique filter set up. Because of how wide the porous surface is, it theoretically should filter quicker than your typical cylindrical filter. Overall, I think that this product had worked quite well for us! We got this back 2 months ago, mid July of 2017, and we have been using/refilling it every day and a half or so. Still going strong on our first filter (though to be clear YMMV depending on a number of factors), but we did pick up a refill pack to make sure we we'll be good to go once that runs out. We think it has been doing a pretty solid job of keeping our water clean, it filters pretty fast (empties the reservoir in about 10 seconds, I think? I'll double check when I get home), and has been solid for us. Anecdotally, one of our friends has told us he's fairly sensitive to what's in his drinking water, but thought our water from this pitcher tasted very good. As a bonus, it has a little door/flap that lets you fill the unfiltered water reservoir without removing the lid. One thing that I'd like to see updated in the design (neutral): the pitcher is somewhat small, so keep in mind that if you need to refill the full thing, it will take a few fills of the unfiltered water reservoir. Now knowing our needs better,I think we personally will be watching for a larger version of the pitcher. Only real con is that the handle is fairly narrow, so it can get a little uncomfortable when putting a full pitcher. But that is fairly nitpicky. It also is somewhat a trade-off for the aesthetic (but still could maybe be improved upon). Also just a note, when you begin soaking and running water over the filter (preparing to insert it into the pitcher the first time), you may notice the material that can be seen through the top holes moving around. This weirded me out at first because I did not notice this, and then saw that the material looked like different colors (ie as though something were wrong with the filter). However just a little bit of jostling while soaking the filter seemed to "fix" what I as seeing. (Full disclosure, it probably didn't actually change anything in the filter performance, likely just something that changed the appearance)

nicely designed
Very nicely designed. Sooo much better than other water filters I've used. Great tasting water, simple...no removing the lid to fill....easy change-filter reminder dial, light weight and attractive. Filters water much more efficiently and quickly and the filters last a good long time... Lot's of value!

Does exactly what it says: Provided good tasting water FAST
I drink a lot of water and always have done. While bottled tastes much better than tap, there's the plastic refuse to cope with. The cost also adds up since I drink about 3L of water, 1L coffee and 1L tea each day. This will slash my costs, even if I have to change filters twice as often, every 3mo, while eliminating all that plastic waste. The water tastes good. It's not like distilled water that has zero flavor, but it's not like hard or metallic tap water or well water. I find that leaving the fluoride content intact is smart and I'm retired and have been drinking fluoridated water all my life, so it's clearly not killing me or anyone else and beyond sports damage, my teeth are happy chompers. The carafe seems sturdy and the 'picture of wood' handle is 'wicked classy' looking. Depth-wise, it JUST fits in my fridge door, a pretty large fridge. It will fit even counter-height fridge doors turned sideways, though I like that the handle sticks out over the shelf rail making it a snap to grab, and it's firm, not wobbly like some pitchers. The filter really does run water through it amazingly fast. I'm used to, and thus abandoned, Brita and Pur filters which take forever. Both have faster filters that simply take half of forever now. This lets you fill the entire 18cup capacity in about a minute and a half... maybe. The filter fits snugly but not with a 'snap' so that it is easy to lift out for replacement. So, sure. Funny name. Technology we're not used to in the US and a higher up-front price may scare you off but if the average person gets 6 or more times the use per filter, it's actually cheaper to own and the complete kit with one filter costs about what other larger pitcher type filters cost. Besides, it actually does exactly what is claimed: It provides good tasting water FAST. Highly recommended.

This is so great!
I recently purchased the Nakii water filter pitcher and I have been pleasantly surprised by its sleek design. It fits easily in my refrigerator and the water filters quickly, making it convenient to use on a daily basis. One of the standout features of the Nakii water filter pitcher is its compact size. It doesn't take up a lot of space in my fridge, and the slim design means that it can easily be stored in the door without taking up too much room. The pitcher itself is made of high-quality plastic that feels sturdy and durable. In terms of performance, the Nakii water filter pitcher filters water quickly and efficiently. It's easy to fill up the pitcher and the water flows through the filter without any clogging or slowdowns. I've noticed that the water tastes clean and fresh, and there's no funny aftertaste like you sometimes get with other water filter pitchers. One potential downside of the Nakii water filter pitcher is that I'm not sure how effective it is at actually filtering out impurities in the water. It uses a carbon filter, which is a common type of water filter, but I don't know how long the filter lasts or how well it removes contaminants from the water. This is something that I will have to research further to get a better understanding. Despite this potential drawback, I think the Nakii water filter pitcher is a great value for the price. It's an inexpensive option compared to other water filter pitchers on the market, and it offers a convenient and easy way to filter your tap water. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I would recommend the Nakii water filter pitcher to others.

The taste of the water is better

This is a really nice looking water filter and it does the job! Great tasting water. It filters really quickly which is nice because I can just turn the tap on low and walk away for a minute or two. It also holds a lot of water and manages to fit in my small apartment sized fridge without taking up too much room.

Very expensive for a product for this intended purpose but head and shoulders in taste on the standard water filters. As others have mentioned to are constantly refilling it so this is my only negative.

I want to like this water filter - it looks great and filters fast. But the refill flap is only convenient when it actually opens; if it’s a little wet, it stays closed and water flows all over the top of the lid. It’s impossible to continue using because I cannot buy replacement filters in Australia. The company cancels the order with no explanation, so the whole thing is useless.
