These barstools are an excellent value. They look good, are relatively comfortable, and are adjustable. Assembly was straight forward and quick. We are 3 months out from having them for two years and are now ordering replacements (Ashley brand this time around). Some of them are still fine but out of the 8 we ordered, two lean to the side and are a falling hazard, another two make a grinding noise when you swivel, and another two squeak loudly and rock a little. They really have taken a beating in the last 6 months as our kids are remote learning and using the kitchen table as their desk. If you are looking for a budget barstool and don't mind minor imperfections, these fit the bill nicely. We are buying barstools this time around that don't have any moving parts since our kids liked to play on these so much.

These barstools are a perfect blend of style and comfort. Update: Be aware and careful. These wore my wood floors down to the point I had to refinish/feather in some stain and protect. A required addition would be something to lay on the floor or cushioning on the bottom of these stools. The hard plastic is not nice to wood floors. Works great for my kitchen island, very modern look. Also plenty comfortable for a barstool although the backrest is short and further back than expected. Adjustable height works great, just be careful to not catch the backrest under your island/bar/whatever, it bends easily. Found that out the hard way. Except for that mistake, the barstools are very high quality, especially for the price. Pretty easy to put together, kind of have to balance the large parts to put it together, but not hard to do. The protective plastic covering is kind of a pain to pull off the chrome edges, but it can be done. Plenty satisfied, would buy more if I had room.

Bought 2 sets of this for countertop bar. Only reason for star is because they were easy to put together but I would say only 1 of them is actually straight.. not good quality control. The worst chair has seams that don’t align.. already set up my returns.. total waste of time if they look like this..

I really like these stools. I like them so much, I bought a second set. I'm 230 lbs and these are stable and comfortable. The hydrrolics work well, but you do need to step off to raise them. They look quite elegant and seem sturdy, but do not recommend leaning back. They are comfortable but there's little back support and after a couple hours you'll want to adjust height or find another chair. For a breakfast nook they're perfect, for a bar you might want something more comfortable. I have 2 of these at my kitchen penninsula which is great for socializing, eating a meal, or sitting down while chopping vegetables. I have the other 2 in my basement home theater as a second row of seating at a bar behind the couch. They're comfortable enough to watch a film, but a double feature might have guests leaving early. I do think these are well made, but as other reviews have mentioned, the metal trim is a concern, one of mine has been dented from raising the hydrolics beneath a countertop, it's not that noticible, but I was aware of that potential issue before purchase and have been careful. I think for the money, these would be hard to beat, but you really can't lean back in them at much height if you're a hefty adult.

My wife and I ordered a set of 2 stools in white. The order was delivered promptly and in good condition. Packaging was efficient. Assembly was fairly easy with the included allen wrench. However, the bases on both seats did not align well with the posts. One seat would not accept the 4th bolt, and one I struggled with. This is a quality issue. The stools themselves look great. However the seating design has a noticable hump at the back bottom of the seating area. And the seat back is angled so that it's not really useful as a backrest. The pneumatic piston height adjustment will lower several inches when sitting on it. Even my 120lb wife settled the stool by 4 inches. I am much heaver and lowered a full 5 inches. The stool base is light and has an integrated black plastic ring that prevents scratching on hardwood flooring and reduces sliding when someone is seated on the stool. This inexpensive stool set is worth it, but not an incredible value.

Well built, solid stools and incredibly easy to assemble. We bought 4 and I got them all set up in less than 20 mins. The unpacking took me longer than building them. Also - shipped super-quick. Arrived in 2 or 3 days from what I recall!
