I can't recommend the AquaHomeGroup 20 Stage Shower Head enough, especially if you're in an older home with outdated plumbing. My house was built in 1991, and I suspect the previous owners never replaced the hot water heater or shower heads. My highly sensitive skin started breaking out terribly - so bad that I was trying to avoid the shower water on my face by washing my face in the sink, but both were causing breakouts. I hated going out in public because of my skin condition. When I discovered this shower head, something told me to give it a try. I was initially concerned about installation problems after reading reviews about leaking, but I found a simple solution: use extra plumber's tape and wrap it around the threads several times tightly. This completely prevented any leaking issues. Installation was straightforward: remove your old shower head, clean the area thoroughly, apply the tape generously to the threads, and screw on the new head. The product includes everything you need for installation. The difference has been remarkable! Now I can wash my face in the shower without problems since changing the shower heads. My overall skin feels good while showering, and I've noticed another significant benefit: the harsh water was causing my hair to fall out, but after installing this shower head, I've seen a tremendous difference in my hair - it no longer feels extremely dry, and there's noticeably less shedding when washing. While this won't replace the need for a new hot water heater eventually, it's an affordable interim solution. I would recommend replacing the filter component every 3 months for optimal performance. Only had for a few days. Well made, great instructions and extra washers and filter. Good fit with no leaks. Works well so far. Much better than the unit I replaced purchased from big box stores. Filters have more filter media yet do not reduce water flow. Not cheap-looking. So far so good.

I recently purchased this item and I have to admit it was a good find and a great buy. It’s only been three days of use, but I do notice the difference in my hair when I wash it. My hair doesn’t fall out as much and my skin just seems softer. I initially purchased this because I notice my hair was looking pretty rough and damaged and I couldn’t understand why when I don’t do any consistent heat use on my hair. Also the installation was very easy.

we have well water which is hard water too. this has helped with skin and hair issues love that we get lots of replacement filters highly recommend this product

Just water filter fit perfect. Installed it in the shower and so far it’s been working fine. And did not change the water pressure.

I bought the AquaHomeGroup 20-Stage Shower Filter hoping it would help with my dry skin, but I’ll be honest — the first couple of days, I didn’t feel any difference at all. I actually thought the whole “water affects your skin” thing might be exaggerated. People say sea salt is good for your skin, but in my experience, whenever I’m near the ocean and the humidity is high, my skin actually gets worse and extremely dry. After about a week of showering twice a day, that’s when the changes became obvious. My skin stopped feeling tight and flaky, the scales I usually deal with started disappearing, and my face, hair, and body became noticeably softer and more hydrated. I also use hydroquinone and retinol, and I feel like this shower filter enhanced the results of my skincare routine instead of competing with it. For context, the water where I am now is supposed to be “better” than U.S. water, but we did add bleach to our cistern — so realistically, it’s probably about the same. That makes the improvement even more noticeable for me.

The filter arrived as scheduled in a well packaged box. The filter itself appears well made and sturdy. The installation was relatively straight forward, although the rubber washers for the tap/fittings blocked the water from flowing through the filter. These were quickly removed and the filter plugged back into place, and it worked perfectly. As to the change in water, we've only had the device installed for a few days, but after three years of very hard (Amsterdam) water, the change is very noticeable. Skin is no longer dry and hair is shinier and not falling out so much. All in all a very satisfactory solution as compared to fitting a water filtration system to the mains.

Ottimo produtto, ho il acqua che viene dal posso, veramente brutta ,troppo calcare, il mio capelli , ugualmente dei mie figli al momento di lavargli minuto dopo tropo secchi e più crespo di normale ,compravo produtto buoni per il capelli e no serviva a niente, però una volta presso queste filtro e attaccato con molta facilità , ho visto da subito il risultato, già ho risolto mio problema. capelli molto belli ,sani e morvidi ho trovato dentro dei filtri residuo di calcare ma tantissimo, adesso lo compro un'altra volta , sono 2 filtri da utilizzare ,mia ha bastato per un anno, sono molto felice ,lo raccomando 100 x 100 .

Easy installation but the product didn’t do much in terms of water quality. I saw no improvement in my hair and skin (impacted by hard water) and there’s more dirt buildup in my shower area which requires more frequent cleaning.
