There is really not much to say about this mug other than it is perfect for pouring pint's and that I love the traditional style. It seems to retain the head of the beer well and the thickness of the glass helps keep it colder for longer. Overall I am happy with my purchase and will be buying more to gift to friends in the near future.

I traveled to the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, Germany and really wanted some beer steins, but I didn't want to lug them around during my travels and didn't want to pay the shipping fees to have them sent stateside. This was ordered as a gift and it was very well received! This friend constantly talks about the great beers in Germany so I thought this would be a nice way to drink local beers. It's looks great, has a very sturdy handle, the glass is nice and thick, and the emblem on the front looks very nice. Needless to say, it was a successful gift!

A good beer stein. It is also good looking! Just be aware that it's 2 pounds of weight is noticeable. But I still like them!

I own several German barware glasses but they are on the more fragile side. I don't always trust them in the hands of tipsy or rough-on-glass guests. I bought this mug and it's a tank! Drop it, clank it - I don't care! It's heavy, sturdy and holds a pint with room for a nice head. If someone gets out of line you can use it to knock some sense into them too :-) Prost!
