Great set that has some things I'd never even heard of or seen before! Very sturdy construction - these are definitely not weak or flimsy at all. I did have to take *maybe* a 1/2 drop of cuticle oil and put on the hinges of clippers so they moved smoothly when they first came, but no issues since. This set is more expensive than others, but I have no doubt they will last longer than the cheaper ones.

Listen.I don't leave reviews often, but I need you to listen to me.If you're looking for a nail set that will last and actually do it's dang job, just get this one.Stop looking at the other ones in your other open tabs. Stop it.I've gotten cheaper ones. I've gotten ones with a bunch of extras that I probably wasn't going to use. They were all either trash, or - in the case of a drug store set I picked up - just "good enough"These though? These actually feel SOLID. Not only that, but they ACTUALLY WORK. No having to *snip snip snip* at a thick hang nail to actually get it off. One and done. And I cannot even tell you how long it's been since I've had a cuticle cutter that actually cuts the cuticle instead of sadly dragging along doing jack-all. I just got these today, immediately went to town, and my fingies have not felt so happy for so long. It's the kind of feeling you get when you've finally taken a shower after a 3 day weekend wallowing in your own filth because you've had a bad week and nobody's around to tell you you can't. Just, so absolutely refreshing.I have no idea how well the carrying case will hold up, but hopefully it's of the same quality. We'll have to see over time. If not though, the quality of the set more than makes up for it.

The case and tools are a good buy at this price and, for my use, a better buy than every other set I looked at. I wanted a nice case to hold all my manicure and pedicure tools for travel so I don’t lose or mislay them, plus some new tools to replace damaged or lost items. Every tool in this set is perfectly finished, very smooth and attractive on all surfaces except the joint pins. The joint pins are not as polished and perfect as all the other surfaces but are at least better finished than on any other set I’ve looked at, including the expensive ones in department stores. So no rough edges anywhere and tools are comfortable to hold. The blades of the scissors and clippers are properly aligned and sharpened - I tested and found they and cut very well. The tweezers are also perfectly aligned. I appreciate the plastic protective caps on the sharp pointed heads of the cuticle nippers and toe nail clippers and the nice snap sheaths too hold them in place. The file, arrow nail cleaner and v-cut cuticle fork are sharp on the edges that should be sharp and satin smooth everywhere else. The ear scraper and cuticle pusher are satiny smooth with no sharp edges and shaped perfectly for their purposes. The finishing and stitching on the case is impeccable. The zipper is heavy duty and moves smoothly back and forth. The inner flap to keep tools from rubbing against each other is a well-thought out and premium touch. Tools are about 4-1/4” in length, which is typical and which I find perfeclly comfortable - YMMV. Metal looks and feels of premium quality and I believe it is stainless steel and will not rust.Things I did not like (mostly my personal aesthetics): The brown color of the vegan leather case is just too orange, which makes the case appear a bit cheap to me (which is a shame, as this case is very high end). A less orange leather on the outside, with a comlimentary color on the zipper fabric, would greatly improve this. I like the leather and suede finishes and colors on the inside as the darker suede balances out the orangey leather - however suede would be a poor choice on the outside as it does not wear well. The blue thumb grip area on the swivel clippers looks tacky - clear or silver would have been better, or even orange, red, or black - a minor point as it is not visible except in use. Case should be at least an inch wider, as clippers and scissors are crowded together. Crowding is less obvious on the other side, but still there. Having items too close together makes it more difficult to remove and replace tools or add tools. I would have loved at least 5 empty brown, thick elastic loops to add tools, such as a czech glass nail file, nano glass nail buffer, a rounded scoop under the nail cleaner (a design which is infinitely superior to the pointy arrow style), scissor-style eyebrow tweezers and blunt-ended, curved scissors - none of which is included and which I prefer. I purchased those items separately and will sub out tools I don’t like with those I do. Even with having to substitute several tools, this is still a good buy for me; certainly the best option I could find. Note that the other sets I looked at had either the same crowding issues, did not have all the tools I needed, had less well made tools or less well designed cases. So this set is recommended as a solid choice, and currently a great budget alternative to the higher priced options.
