Lifescan OneTouch Verio Flex blood Glucose Monitoring System with 10 strips

I haven't found the battery to be a problem. Due to another review, I bought 8 replacement batteries when I ordered the device, and I haven't needed a single one of them. Granted, I make sure the device is turned off when I walk away from it. I have also been complimented by my doctor, my clinic's dietitian and my own nutritionist on how accurate they consider the device. I feel comfortable knowing that the professionals I work with consider this a good choice. I also like managing my glucose levels through the Reveal app. It is necessary because the device itself has a very minimal interface, but if you like that sort of thing, then this is the device for you.

I think it’ll work great once I replace the dead battery it came with.

Uses a minimal amount of blood to test for sugar. Had another machine from another company that needed more blood and would time out before I could get a reading.

Was previously opened, parts not in sealed packaging plus the package/box was ripped open. Also the meter does not work with the battery or plugged in. Want a replacement

The fact that the box is marked "For Sale in India Only" gives me pause. What about this unit is different other than it's price is given in Rupees? Appears to be identical to what's sold in the USA. Otherwise everything about this purchase worked out OK.

A sealed kit was received from the seller. The kit contained just the meter and 10 test strips. The lancing device and 10 lancets were not enclosed. Apparently the carton contents were manipulated before delivery by the manufacturer perhaps. A similar onetouch test kit received from my Pharmacy did not have the 10 test strips but did have the meter, lancing device, and 10 lancets. Between the two kits I can now test for 10 days. I obtained both kits to have a primary test kit at home and a travel or work test kit. Now i need to find another lancing device in addition to my prescription test strips. I only switched to this brand from Contour due to my INSURANCE. Look at the third photo posted with this meter on this website listing. You do not get everything. Lifescan is doing this. I called the manufacturer and they admit to selling kits without test strips and kits without lancing devices. UPDATE: The email I sent to Lifescan received very good results compared to my phone call. They contacted me by phone after I wrote and will ensure I have all missing components. The lady I spoke with was VERY FRIENDLY and extremely helpful and understanding. Kudos to Customer Service.

I needed a second glucose monitor to keep at a seasonal location I visit twice a year. This item is exactly the same as the one my healthcare provider gave me. It works perfectly.

Good product. However, it seems that there is a software glitch in connecting with the machine with the smart phone. Once we have tried to connect and given a code prompted by the instrument, that's it, there is no choice of reconnecting with a randomly change key. Remaining all is good. Readings are fine and within the comparable range of other instruments like OneTouch Ultra.

Machine is good. Blue tooth enabled mobile sync feature is good. It is best for diabetic persons to monitor their sugar levels automatically without recording manually. But repeated strips cost is more when compared with other companies. So take care of maintenance charge while purchasing.

Unfortunately product is defective it's not working at all. So I am losing trust in Amazon.
