Ive enjoyed eating MREs many times over the years so I knew what to expect. Bought 5 different ones to see what I like. I was very impressed by these from AmmoCanMan. All were well within their shelf date. They were packaged well and were not damaged during shipping. They look well taken care of and the seller obviously cares about what they sell. Flavor-wise, these have come a long way over the years and provide satisfying nutrition for camping, hiking, or if you just don't want to make dinner. And in many cases these taste way better than most store bought freezer meals. The upside of buying them individually is that you know what you're getting and are not stuck with a few from a "case-pack" that you aren't interested in. I try to keep a week's worth of emergency food on hand and rotate older ones out as I get new ones in. Tales of MREs abound among Friends & Family who served. I enjoyed eating a meal after an EXOTHERMIC reaction (It would have made an excellent demonstration in 4th Grade Science class). The food wasn't bad at all.

I loved it I cant blame the company for the heater not working since they are made by a separate company for the government but overall to a while to arrive but it was very enjoyable.
