Work for us!!
I just completed the first container for my white boxer puppy and ordered a refill. These have helped tremendously! My puppy has very weepy eyes as a result of having ectropion/droopy eyelids, which cause her eyes to tear (and stain) more than usual. We went from VERY noticeable stains to almost nothing!! I also add blueberries to her food, as I hear that possibly helps as well. Even my husband, who doesn’t notice this type of thing, said “Wow, these really work” Two thumbs up from us!

Proved the doctors wrong and saved my dog from a lifetime of drops
Honestly the Zesty Paws Tear Stain supplements were a miracle for my dog with watery eyes!! Occasionally my dog kept getting really sticky goop in her eyes and they were watery. I felt like it was seasonal allergies based on the pattern of when she would get it plus she was sneezing a lot. I took her to a highly reputable vet, and the doctors diagnosed my dog with pannus, which is an overgrowth of the third eyelid (did you know the dogs have 3 eyelids? I did not but I do now.) I still felt like it was allergies, but I was told dogs don’t really get histamine-related allergies like humans do. They told me they wanted me to put 2 different eye drops in her eyes several times a day every day for the rest of her life and she is only 3 years old. Given that she hates the eye drops and it’s very big production for me to get her to let me give them to her, this was heartbreaking to hear. I wanted a second opinion, so I took her to a veterinary ophthalmologist diagnosed her with plasmoma, which is where the immune system attacks the third eyelid. They gave me some drops and to put one drop in my dog’s eye three times a day and told me that my dog would need lifetime therapy. We cleared her infection with 10 days of Neo/Poly/Dex drops and I stopped the drops. A few weeks later the infection came back, so we did drops again. This was a pattern that kept happening and was very sad. I came across the Zesty Paws Tear Stain supplement and thought it couldn’t hurt to add that. It’s crazy but within a matter of days of me giving her these supplements, her watery eyes stopped watering! We went back to the eye doctor for her checkup and they said her eyes look really good! She did not have pannus or plasmoma and I still think it was allergies. Whatever it was, the Zesty Paws Tear Stain supplement fixed it!!! Her eyes are now normal with normal tears. I can tell you that my dog has very, very little issues with her eyes now. Even the doctor is amazed. The only thing I do is continue with the Zesty Paws Tear Stain supplements 2 per day and she is 45 pounds). Honestly, this is what stopped my dog’s eyes from watering and stopped the recurring infections. We have only had to use the Neo/Poly/Dex drops once (for 10 days) in the last year. If you have a dog with watery eyes, please try this product and see if it works for you. Thank you thank you thank you for this wonderful product! It truly did save my dog from having a lifetime of eye drops!!!

Doesn't work but my dog loves it as a treat
I’ve been using these Tear Stain Bites for my dog consistently for a year, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen any improvement in tear stains. That said, my dog absolutely loves them, and they make a great treat. While they didn’t work for their intended purpose for us, I still buy them because my pup enjoys them so much.

These actually work
When we got our Golden Retriever at 10 weeks she had pretty bad tear stains. We started giving her one of these pet day and about 5 weeks later they were gone. She is 8.5 months old now and about 3 weeks ago i noticed they were starting to come back. I realized I had never increased the quantity of these treats and she weighs 35lbs more than she did at the start, so i just increased to 2 a day and they are beginning to fade again. The pics were taken on 7/6/24, 8/16/24, and 1/19/25. They smell pungeant like brewer's yeast and that will linger on your hands, so wash your hands after handling. But as long as you make sure you are giving the proper amount for their weight and they should work!

Didn’t work
I haven’t noticed any change in my dogs year staining. Also, the flavor. My dog loves the Turkey flavor calming chews but I have a hard time getting her to take this flavor. Should have stuck with a meat flavor. Very expensive as well Would be nice if they sold sample size so we could see if our dogs like them before spending so much.

It actually works at preventing tear stains on my shihtzu
I was skeptical but it actually work at removing tear stains on my dogs eyes. I have a shihtzu and after 2 years of age, he started getting stains on his fur under his eyes. I started to notice a difference in about a month time. I give him 1 vitamin a day in the morning. I give it 4 stars because he doesn't necessarily like it the same way he likes treats. He doesn't dislike it either, like he does medicine. In order for him to eat it, I give him 1 vitamin and 1 treat and he eats them both. If I just give him the Zesty, he will leave it.
