Palmetto Farms Mixed Grits 3 Pack

Flavor and texture of the mixed white/yellow is superb. Had bought these while vacationing in Charleston; at the city market. Wonderful with Shrimp and Grits. Easy to order with Amazon Prime!

This is the only brand of grits I’ll buy. Perfect taste and texture! I use a different recipe than what’s on the bag. I actually found it in the back of a James Patterson book. The grits simmer for about 45 minutes and come out superbly rich & fluffy. To avoid hotspots in the bottom of the pan, I also use a cast iron simmer plate that I purchased off of Amazon. Once you’ve had these grits, you’ll never ever settle for instant grits or another brand.

These grits are very flavorful and I like the level of grind they gave their corn. For those who haven't tried anything but instant grits, the product can be smooth when it is cooked because the grit is finer or it can be rather "gritty" because the grind is much rougher. This is the longer cooking grits and comes out nice and smooth, but I tend to put it in my Instant Pot to cook so I don't have to stand at the stove stirring. It's great for breakfast with eggs and sausage but it is also great for those shrimp and grits, making cheese grits casseroles and for a side dish when you want to serve polenta. The three pack is plenty for my family and I just put the bags into the freezer until I need them. Great product from Palmetto Farms.

These are hands down our favorite grits. They’re always fresh and great quality. I wish they were cheaper, but they are so worth the price. We love to sub the water for whole milk during the cooking process. It gives them such a creamy texture. Love that they are non-GMO and stone ground. We’ve tried their other colors and they are all good. Definitely try them!

I opted for the mix of yellow/white. No particular reason. Very nice and tasty. Since I’d had Quaker Old Fashioned,I used the same microwave directions and adapted it to 800 watt oven as best i could. Turned out really nice.. I often mix in Buffalo cheese with shrimp or scrapple or spicy sausage or what needs to be used from the fridge real soon! 🤗

My friend in Florida hipped us to these grits and we have not looked back. They take a little longer to cook but worth it.

Once you try these grits you won’t buy any others and nothing will compare. I used the mixed variety and they are incredible!

I like grits that don’t have too many dark specks and these are flavorful overcooked or just past runny like I like em. I alternate and find the yellow a little more flavorful.
