Superior product for bottles/nipples, baby clothes, and even parent clothing!
My husband and I bought Dapple on a whim because a) it said it was safe for babies 2) I needed some kind of low sudsing soap to wash out my breastmilk equipment in OFTEN 3) it smelled great 4) it wasn't a huge financial investment (we had just put several boxes of diapers in the cart so we were already past that shock stage, ha ha). When we got home I immediately began to use it and it worked GREAT! It cleaned my breast pump items quickly and without a dozen rinses (which is key in the middle of the night!) and it allowed me to very quickly hand-wash our bottles (which have lots of components to them including a straw-like projection) and it actually got the formula clumps out of the inside of the straw. We quickly realized that it was a pain to hand-wash all these bottles (we feed our twins breastmilk fortified with formula) so we began to put them into the dishwasher. But we started to realize that the larger bottles (8 oz) continued to have a persistent haze to them. So, we now keep a plastic pan under the sink (the one from the hospital, actually) and every few washings we either soak the larger bottles in the pan overnight in diluted Dapple OR we put a few drops of Dapple in a bottle and shake up it up. We take a sealed beverage container and toss all the nipples in there and shake that up before tossing all of these pieces into the dishwasher. All of these processes get ALL the milk and formula out of the nipples. My husband, the skeptic, LOVES using Dapple because of how well it removes the film and how great it smells. Lastly, out of shear sleep deprivation and perhaps a touch of laziness, I tried using Dapple on my nursing bras when I hand-washed them (while I was in the shower) and it took all the film/ funk off that nylon material and was dry by the time I went to put it back on in the morning (and smelled good, too!). I don't know about using the actual Dapple detergent since I use this formulation as needed. We keep a full-sized bottle of it in our master bath and by the kitchen sink and the travel one in our diaper bag. We now purchase the refill bag (36oz) since it is much more economical once you have the pump/ travel container to refill.

I love this soap!
I really love this soap. It makes all my bottles, bottle parts, and breast pump parts sparkling clean. The bottle says that it is "made with baking soda", so I think that's why it's so great at getting all the residue and cloudiness off. With Dapple the bottle nipples become clear! I also love the easy to use pump and colorful bottle. The 16.9 ounce bottle is actually quite large, so it lasts a long time for me. And it smells great! When I was first looking for a baby soap, someone suggested using a generic dye- and fragrance-free dishsoap because they said "all soaps are the same" and baby soap "is just marketing hype". So I tried Palmolive Pure and Clear. But Palmolive really did not do a good job cleaning the breastmilk at all, it didn't rinse well, and the scent was very artificially strong in my opinion. Then, I used the Medela Quick Clean Breastmilk Removal Soap. It works well, but it is more expensive and because it's a soaking soap you have to spend time soaking stuff in batches. So then I bought a travel-size bottle of Dapple. After I found myself trying to ration it out and use it down to the very last drop, I finally gave in and bought the big bottle on Amazon. So glad I did! I wish they had an auto-ship subscription to this stuff.

A little goes a long way..
This soap is very good, you need only a little to clean a few bottles and I like how it leaves the bottles squeaky clean. It cuts the film and greasiness.

Strong smell, great cleaning power
I have 4 month old twin boys and we go through a lot of bottles each day. They get both formula and breastmilk. So far I haven't had much luck getting rid of that filmy, cloudiness on the nipples, even running them through the dishwasher. Now when I rinse the bottles before they go into dishwasher I use water with this soap in it. The cloudiness is still there but the film is gone. I also soak all my pumping stuff in it before I sterilize it. They always seem really clean after soaking. The two things I don't like: 1. I dont mind fragrence in soap but this is very strong. It is a strong organic lavender smell. I don't like it, but it's purely a preference thing. Next time I will get the fragrence free version. 2. It doesn't suds up much. Not much bubbles. It's suppose to be that way so they dry faster (according to the bottle). I guess I use bubbles to gauge good scrubbing and things being clean. The more you scrubb the less bubbles. That's okay, it works well. Oh! and i like the container. The pump is great, easy to dispense.

Cleans milk off the bottles well
I use this product 10 times a day and love it! Glad to know it doesn't have a bunch of dangerous chemicals that could be bad for baby and environment, yet it cleans extremely well and gets the milk film off the bottles, nipples, etc. It's got a great light scent and I love the packaging (ergonomic, looks clean, high grade plastic used, stickers don't get all gunky) and pump works well. I've already purchased the refills which save you money and keep all those bottles out of the landfills.

Love how clean this leaves the baby bottles and breast pump parts. We also use it to clean the funnel on the Baby Brezza formula dispenser and our high chair tray. Love the scent too. An added bonus is that our hands aren't dry like they were from washing bottles and pump parts with regular name brand dish soap. Highly recommend it!

Do to complications with my newborn not eating properly and losing a lot of weight, I am unable to breastfeed, and am exclusively pumping. This soap is AMAZING for cleaning pump parts, bottles, and toddler cups/dishes (we also have a toddler). Highly recommend this brand and we love this scent to boot!
