That is a question for the ad writer. This wire can be used to wire an AC unit, a powered whole house air filter such as a Honeywell or Lennox that use the big filters. If you need 12/2 romex type wire this is a good one. Just a note. Measure twice before ordering. It is a bit stressful to find out that you are five feet short, and have to order more.
