This product is just as advertised if you take the time to read everything and it works great. I use this for my cat who stays in the shed with an outdoor enclosure attached to window. The shed isn't insulated but has cardboard on the walls with a heater running. It still gets pretty cold in there and I wanted to be sure she would be safe in the winter. I got this cat house to put in the shed and it works perfectly and she enjoys it. It heats well, if you lay your hand on it you can almost instantly feel the heat. I know with the weight of my cats entire body on that heating pad, she will definitely be feeling warm. Assembling it is super easy with Velcro and it's actually quite sturdy. You can remove the door flaps for the entre way by just detaching the Velcro which is convenient. I don't notice any air leaks in the house. As long as you properly line the Velcro pieces up evenly when assembling it, there isn't an issue with cold air entering from anywhere besides the entryway of course. There is a small portion of floor inside in front of the entre ways of the house that isn't heated but my cat doesn't seem to mind and it didn't keep her from getting on the large heating pad that was on the remainder of the house floor. This would not be a good house to put outside in your yard since it is not water proof or weather proof, it's sturdy but not sturdy enough to survive a harsh thunderstorm. But it does a great job in a garage or shed, keeping your cat warm and dry from any leaks your shed or garage may have. As long as the house is placed inside of something that already has a roof and some walls, it's perfect. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and neither could my cat, it was just what I needed.

One of my cats absolutely loves this. I’ve been thinking of getting a 2nd one because he refuses to share! I like that the heating pad is only on one side so when he gets hot he can move over to the non heated side. It holds the heat in there surprisingly well. The roof is easy to pull off so you can get in there and clean it. And the roof is soft too, my cat loves to get on top of it and sleep too. Highly recommend for indoor or outdoor cats!

First and foremost delivery was extremely fast. When I received the package, it was very neat. The box had not been damaged or anything which sometimes happens during shipping. I was very, very impressed with the way everything was so neatly boxed. This has been a great buy for me. Took 5 minutes or less, right out of the box to put together, it is very sturdy. There's a door on the front, a door on the back, which I really love, so the animal doesn't feel caged in. If something does try to get it, it can flee out the backside, so that was a great idea. My cats love this house. They were all actually fighting over it to get in there, to who was going to get to stay in it, but of course, my little queen that i've had for almost twelve years was the one that won it over. I have 4 rescues and of course a dog that We rescued almost 20 years ago that now has cancer. Anyway, we love our animals and we also have another Kitty cat that has been coming up and I feed him and he has just gotten so close to us, but he is very frightened. He will not come in. I don't want him to freeze this winter and i'm telling you, if you're looking for something that's quick and easy to put together that you don't have to have tools.The velcro is extremely strong on this.It's very sturdy. It went together so fast. It has a heated bed in it, and it is so padded, and so cushiony. My little girl Melmers loves it. She got in there and she slept in it all night first night I put it together. I honestly can't say enough about this little house for kitties. I was so impressed, and since they fought over the one for the inside. My little guy that comes up everyday morning and night to eat needed a home and that's who I actually ordered it for because he is afraid to come in, so I ordered another one of these. I'm telling you, you will not be disappointed. I am more than pleased and in the future. After this other one that I just ordered again if I need them in the future, I'm hoping they will always have them because I will definitely be a repeat customer because they had great delivery service. Which that to me is great customer service and my other one that I just ordered is already going to be delivered tomorrow. And so when it said I was going to get it the next day, it was the truth, I got it. It was the most fantastic, easy little house to put together and it is sturdy. It's very sturdy, and it is weatherproof. Again, I like the 2 doors front and back and my Kitty cats love it. That's why I had to order another one for our little guy that comes up everyday the thought of him being out in the cold winter and not being able to have a heated bed to keep him warm. I just couldn't stand the thought of that. So I want to say a big Thank you to this company for making a great product that's easy to put together. That is sturdy and that the cat feels safe going in and I do think that they see that there is a door in the front and a door in the back, because the fear of being locked in somewhere and not being able to make your exit would make them hesitant, my kitties love it, and i'm sure my little guy that comes up that we've named Stripey will love it too !❤️

I love these heated homes for the cats. I didn't give it five stars because I'm not sure if the mat is actually getting warm. The cat likes the house. I put a little catnip in to get him to initially go in. I hope it's getting warm because my garage is freezing and that's where the house is. I did put some light weight silver bubble insulation across the top of it. It is big enough for my large cat to lay down in. It is well made, easy to put together and sturdy. This is my second time buying this house the other one is a little smaller, and I still have the first one and still use it.. this house is not intended for being out in the harsh elements. It needs to be in a garage or under a porch, roof or canopy out of the snow and out of the rain.

These are amazing. K&H products in general have been fantastic. We have two indoor heating pads, an outdoor heating pad, and now this house. We have it on our porch and moderately protected from the weather. The outside (by choice) cat went in the first night and stretched out. That night, it was around 45 outside. It's currently snowing and 20 degrees. She is sound asleep, curled up in a ball in the back of it out of the wind, and doing just fine. While the house is very well made, goes together easily, and seems warm, I don't think it would be enough for sub-zero temps or directly exposed to the weather, as there is simply too much air volume inside for the cat's body temp and heating pad to heat up. The cat has a small homemade house out of a cooler filled with straw that she chooses over this one when the temps drop, but on these normal 30-degree nights, she is happy in this K&H house.

Heater doesn’t work in UAE but it’s still nice

Just bought this one and love it! This is our second one. We got the single one years ago and it is still in great condition! We live in northern Canada and it gets to -40c here at times. The heating pad works great and our old guy hates to come inside, so I feel comfortable with him outside to about -20c and he is very comfortable. Actually warm to the touch when he comes in. Just got two kittens, built a Catio and gave them this double size one and they love it! Highly recommend as it is veery sturdy (they sleep on the roof at times) well built and warm. We keep it unplugged until it gets cool out. Enjoy!

This is an ideal shelter for an outdoor cat. Well heated, perfect dimensions. Extremely easy to construct. Well worth the investment.

I live in Northern Ontario, Canada so it can get quite cold here. Our cats are outdoor cats who very rarely choose to come inside, although they do have the option. We have an outside shelter for them, but there is nothing to keep them warm so I bought this heaty kitty house. Needless to say, it was a big hit! Easy to put together, (just velcro) and they love it. I have found at least two of them sleeping in there at the same time. I like that the plastic doors come off - we'll probably leave them off in the summer. It's not rain proof and it has an electrical cord, so as long as you can protect it, you should be fine. You can see in the photo that ours is on a deck so that it is away from the damp.

Our little stray cat loves it - we even catch her hanging out inside it during the day. Looks great! Fast arrival. Easy to put together. Cons - the doors don't work very well due to the design. We just left one door off completely Wish it was waterproof on the outside - we wrap a tarp around it if we're expecting rain. Still a nice warm shelter for our little friend :)
