Great play set for my son, really cute little treasure chest. You don't get a lot of sand for the cost, but such a neat little set. Easy to store, keeps everything contained, easy to clean up. Everything just fits really tidily inside, keeping mess to a minimum.

I've bought this as a Christmas gift for my youngest, she is nearly 3. My middle Son played with kinetic sand all the time and loved it, so when i saw this chest i had to buy it. My LO loves chests and boxes so it will appeal immediately, it was a good price at just under £15 at the time i recall, cheapest online at that point. The package arrived in good time, as expected and all packed well. The chest is bigger than i thought so this was good to begin, i haven't opened it yet but frankly you can't go wrong with the official kinetic sand. It's in my experience always an excellent quality and this purchase will have great longevity. I find the sand is far easier to clear up when spilt, i would recommend using trays to try and contain it more as kids are messy. Would highly recommend 👌

Bought this for my little lad for Christmas. He's had kinetic sand sets before so knew he'd like it but I didn't realise how much he would. He loves the adventure elements, finding the key and the jewels, playing physically with sand ( I put the set in an IKEA flisat bin so he stays contained) and he pretends the instruction leaflet is a treasure map he has to follow to find the treasure chest. I just wish there were more sets like this ( his sister had the mermaid one). We got it on offer and it was worth every penny.

What a fabulous set from Kinetic Sand. My son loves digging around looking for pirate treasure. I can't lie, I enjoy it too. So easy to clean up.

I purchased this for my little girls 3rd birthday as she loves anything pirate related. She adores burying the 5 little gems that are included and digging them back out again. I’ve given 4 stars as though I rate it highly for its ability to keep my child occupied and encourages her to use her imagination, it’s very difficult to open in the first place! There is a key stored in the sharks mouth at the top of the chest. You insert it until the key hole and have to position it correctly to be able to open the chest. You don’t turn it, you just sort of have to wiggle it in and out until you’re successful. It’s impossible for my 3 year old to do this on her own and frustrating even for me as an adult.

I was blown away by the size of this. The value more money is really good.
