This is my second piece from Tribesigns and I’ve been pleased with both. The fit and finish of the cabinet is excellent. I takes a while to put it together because there are many parts to the drawers but after they’re assembled it goes pretty quickly. The only trouble I had was getting the top drawer inserted into the drawer guides but I think that was my own fault. Overall the cabinet is not as tall as I had pictured it but it’ll work well for my purposes.

Bought two of these to replace one tall 4-drawer file cabinet and a printer stand. They look so much nicer in my office. They seemed to make room look bigger. A little difficult to put together, but doable with no real issues.

I always find furniture to be a gamble but this product arrived in a timely manner and didn’t disappoint. There was a crack in only one of the pieces. I emailed the company immediately and they were glad to send a replacement piece or refund me a $ amount for the damaged piece. Due to how long it would take to ship I decided to build with the cracked piece and hope for the best. So far so good! I wanted a filing cabinet that was practical and attractive and this met the standards. It took my husband and myself about 2 hours to build but had all the needed pieces, it went faster when we broke out the power drill and stopped using the screw driver. After built it actually has some weight to it and seems sturdy. I would use the lateral file with handing folders but wouldn’t really put too much weight setting in the bottom of the drawers. The locking top was just what I wanted for our filing and we will use the bottom drawer for kids craft stuff that they can easily access whenever. All in all, I am please with this item. It looks clean and attractive and holds a purpose.

First, the directions are terrible. Drawings that are very difficult to decipher and are inaccurate. Add to this additional hardware and screws you don't nee,d and assembly is very difficult. One of my drawer slides is defective and bent. I tried to contact the seller for a new one. Very rude and uncooperative. Says Amazon has to replace, Amazon will not replace or accept a return. I offered to buy a drawer slide from the seller and they won't sell me one. All I can do now is file a claim for a refund. Terrible experience.

I thought it was pretty hard to put together but I'm one of the most unhandy people I know and I still managed to get it together. It took me about six or seven hours working on and off on it and the instructions were difficult for someone like me. I probably studied the instructions for an hour figuring out what they wanted me to do before I started. Be careful with the cam pins when screwing them in - slow and careful because the cheap wood chips off easily. I screwed up on step four with piece 18 I didn't even notice it until I got to step 13 so I had to partially remove pieces from the first drawer to install parts 18. I also got confused on step 27 because there were no holes in the wood and I wasn't quite sure what they wanted me to do with those plastic pieces. That might seem silly to people who know what they're doing but I'm very literal and instructions didn't mention no holes. But I did get it together. I haven't put anything in the drawers yet but I have noticed they don't pull out quite far enough so it might be hard to get things in and out of there I'll find out I guess. It looks nice and I like it because it's just for personal use, but I really don't think it was worth $200. It'll do. Edit: Now that I'm starting to actually use the filing cabinet, I do have one problem with it. The drawers do not pull out far enough and it's kind of a hassle to get the folders and stuff in there you have to jockey them in there because there's not enough room

I got this piece in to replace a metal filing cabinet in my office. This piece was a pain in the butt to put together and after I finally figured out the rails for the drawers they broke before I could even transfer my files over. Also the size is smaller than it looks in pictures

The file cabinet was easy to assemble and the size was just right!
