Know What Your Getting Into
Its A Good System But-PROS- Peep Sights, Holds Zero, Well Made, Room For Modification And Upgrade, Adjustable, Much Much Better Sight Picture, Faster Sight Picture, Longer Length For Iron Sights, Excellent Warranty and Customer Service.CONS- Requires Permanent Modification (On Romanian 1959 Model) In The Form of Filing down Gas Block In front of Rear Sight (Old One, If you dont you lose lower third of sight picture and have to raise front sight) And Grinding Down Pin On Rear Receiver Cover Retaining Pin, Nut supplied does not Fit Inside Receiver Pin Hole (Enlarge it to fit, or sight is offset) And if you have a Tapco stock on yours you will need to trim it.THE BREAKDOWN- Its a great sight, but get ready to do some mods. If your okay with that then you can enjoy this great sight. The mods where a pain and a few times i thought of chucking it down a mine shaft. Now that everything is said and done I really like it, its fast, better sight picture and is rock solid. This product would make the Russians proud, and works great up close or at range.

Improved sight picture. Aftermarket stocks may need modification.
Arrived 3 days earlier than estimated. Sights are much easier on the eyes than the stock leaf sights. Will install easily with original stock. But for my Tapco stock, I did have to use a dremmel tool to remove some material and allow the sights to sit properly. Not a problem though as this is my project stock and I still have the original wood stock just in case I somehow ruin this one. Installation was easy enough involving removal of the takedown latch. Some rifles latch pins can be punched out. Mine had to be filed off. Didn't want to but it can still be used if I want to revert back to the original sights. Nothing I would call a big alteration.

Great addition to an old battle rifle
Tech sight are great aftermarket low tech ring sights. I have added them to several of my 22s they work great and are fairly easy to install and dial in. The tech sight for the sks required a bit more installation, but once mounted sight in was smooth and easy. Standard sights on an sks are junk! Replace them with these and turn your sks into a 400m 6 moa battle rifle!

the best affordable SKS upgrade you can make
I installed the sights and have made all adjustments to align them. Great fit, easy to install as the instructions were clear and concise. Please note the rear sight is a little tough to get out, but by following the instrutions and giving your driver a slight twist and gently pulling the driver back the rear sight will just pop right out. I took the rifle to the range last week. My groups were tighter at 100 meters using the same surplus ammo I used before installing the sight.thank you Tech Sights, the single, most significant rifle upgrade I made on my SKS.** Note ** I just remembered I put a dab of white paint on the front sight post. :)GF

This is a much better way to go in my opinion
I installed this on my Yugo SKS. It did not improve my accuracy at 50 meters over the stock iron sights. However, it does improve quickness in picking up the proper sight picture. It also makes disassembly for cleaning a bit of a hassle. I ultimately removed this sight & installed the ScoutScope short rail system which combines an improved blade rear sight with a detachable picatinny rail for mounting a small red dot sight. This is a much better way to go in my opinion.

Need Bifocal Glasses? Then , you need this TS100 peep site for your SKS
I need bifocal lenses, the peep site centers the rear site even if fuzzy, that just leaves the end of the rifle and the target to focus on and my main lens hand just fine. The stock rear sight needs to be removed and that is a little tricky. Once setup (a little tricky) can come on and off without re-zero. Great to 150 yards, I haven't tested further, SKS should be good to 180 yards fairly flat.

I want everybody to know that 4 stars is arguable ...
I want everybody to know that 4 stars is arguable.... I can't say much about the product other than it seemed relatively quality. My issue was that it would not fit my rifle with the aftermarket dust cover I have installed.

Excellent upgrade for little $
Installed fairly easily. The only difficult thing was removing the stock pin from the rifle as I had to file off the retaining pin. Once that was out the new sight went on very easily. Snug fit, but didn't have to modify it in any way. I took it to the range the next day and was able to zero the rifle easily. I feel it is much more accurate as the distance between the sights is nearly twice what the stock distance was. If you're used to shooting an M16 or variant with aperture sights, you'll be very pleased with this product.
