These things are great for moving around heavy furniture with ease and I do mean heavy like marble heavy, IF you have carpet. They didn't come with a lift stick as my first set did which is really helpful if you are low strength or want to minimize strain in lifting to get the sliders under the heavy furniture. I lost a few sliders from my first set so I ordered these and use the stick I have. If you can order a set with the lift stick. Great quality.

Always hated moving my fridge to clean behind and beneath. The basic fridge design is thankfully not on casters and no longer on those tiny-footprint leveling feet that cut into your kitchen floor. However, all the fridges I have now (I have 7) are on rollers. Sounds great, but the rollers are about 3 inches wide and maybe an inch in diameter. This means that under their significant weight they still carve out deep dents in my high-end linoleum floor, making it difficult to coax out of place for cleaning. I put each of the four rollers in caster cups with rubber bottoms to secure them and spread the load out over a 3-4" square area. Then I put one of these under each of the rubber caster cups. They don't move off the slider. But the slider moves freely over the kitchen floor. Takes a bit of assembly but the combination works great, fully protects my floors, and as far as I have found is not available in any single product. Its also worth noting that this combination keeps the weight from breaking through the center of the plastic slider, which may not be meant for such a load. Such a combo works great on things like sofas and chairs that are positioned on deep pile carpets or frieze carpets, which tend to be too soft to allow the weight to be properly distributed by plastic alone. I especially like the half-square half-circle design. Will be buying more.

These furniture sliders work perfectly for moving a heavy recliner. Seven months ago, I installed a new hardwood floor and didn't want it to get scratched up. The chair is moved quite often, and the sliders have held their position well. I have no scratches on the floor. They also are shaped so that they are barely visible. I am very happy with them. In fact, I ordered some more because I installed another floor, and the bed is moved at times.

I ordered three packs of the 5 in. carpet sliders. Been doing some cleaning, so the moment they arrived, I immediately placed a set under the TV console and dining table. I was able to slide both things easily; they're staying in place from this point on, as putting them under something is a bit of a chore solo. I love these things and am only sorry it's taken me this many years to buy some. Since size has been an issue in some comments: the reported sizing is a bit deceptive. The only place where it even comes close to 5 in. is between the diagonal corners at the base of the rounded side; even then, it's the very edge of the plastic and *not* the foam padding. A square side of the foam padding is 3 in., so keep your furniture legs in mind when choosing the size. 4/5 stars for sizing issues, even though they work as described.

These are amazing for people who don't want to bother another person to move a heavy piece from carpet to hardwoods. I am amazed how easy it was to move a 1930's HEAVY dresser all by myself. Moving the beast was incredibly easy- it was like the dresser was sliding on buttered coasters. So easy and effective!

My husband had me order these sliders to assist in furniture movement following new flooring installation in our home. They are soooo useful and handy. Great purchase at great price point.

I have two extremely heavy sofas (with power recliners) and I could not even hope to move them. I put these under the four corner legs and now I can easily move the sofas across the medium pile carpet in our family room.
