Excellent condition; excellent perfomance
Images are as sharp as expected from an S series Nikkor Z lens. Fast autofocus in low light; excellent image quality edge to edge, and, for a refurbished item, performed as new. Very pleased. (I bought a refurbished lens directly from Nikon - no box or paperwork, performed as used, although described as "like new". DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY FROM NIKON FOR REFURBISHED LENSES - BUY FROM AMAZON. Amazon's quality control supercedes Nikon's!)

Lens is spot on. Refurbished seems up to factory specs.
First off, it’s an awesome lens from Nikon. This being refurbished made me put it through testing. Everything tested perfectly.

Good lens but I like the old AF lens better
Lens does everything you want it to with minimal distortion. Great for real estate and landscapes. Build quality is not as good as the older AF model.

Due to Nikon discounting DSLR lenses,
Due to Nikon discounting DSLR lenses, I finally got this legend lens. I already use the AF-S 16-35mm f/4 and it's very sharp. But as a Nikon photographer since 1970, I've always wanted this ultimate example of Nikkor Lens precision. I'll post more thoughts after a few hundred captures. For now, after about 20 test shots, I'm very happy. Tack sharp, great color saturation and solid construction. Excellent.
