I've bought every bird seed mix there is. From basic economy to expensive Lyric nut mix...and always come back to this. My birds LOVE it the best, and there is VERY little mess left behind. (mainly bunny "poofs", since they're the extra cleanup crew. Lol!) If you're tired of raking and blowing sunflower seed shells...just get it. It's more expensive technically, but the "no waste" actually makes it worth it and a better return on investment. ESPECIALLY when it's on sale. Side note - I also add a bag of suet nuggets in the winter, and have ALL the woodpeckers. Lol! Bird nerd away, friends!

This bird food is a little more expensive however the birds actually all of the food. With the cheaper foods there is a lot of filler and the birds don't eat that so it ends up falling on the ground and attracts rodents which attracts snakes which doesn't make me very happy. The seed still falls on the ground but you will see a lot of birds on the ground actually eating up the seed. I wouldn't say no mess because the birds are still messy however they just clean up their mess with this food.

I love KT Wildbird. I used them last year and the birds came flocking. I just saw a cardinal today. It was so red and beautiful. I can’t wait to see them all this spring. This wild bird seed it is waste, free and no mess. I will definitely buy this kind again.

Due to negative comments in reviews about the corn in this product, I almost did not order it. I used to buy the Kaytee mixed wild bird seed when it was on sale, but stopped when it was basically cracked corn with a little bird seed thrown in. Corn is a cheap filler and can be bought alone for a low price. Fortunately, there was no problem with corn in this bag. Yes, there are some small whole kernel pieces, but not that many, and I have squirrels. This bag was a pretty good mixture of mostly sunflower chips and millet. Both very well liked and millet is not cheap, plus sorely missing in many mixed seed bags these days. Peanuts? Not that many. In fact, I could not recommend this to someone wanting peanuts. You'll have to buy the Kaytee shelled peanuts, which usually have a lot of pulverized peanut skins, but is still a better deal than other brands of shelled peanuts for birds.

It cost more but is worth it. The birds love it and there are no shells/husks to clean up, and weeds do not grow between our paver stones like with regular seed. The jury is still out on this next part but it seems like in warmer weather, the squirrels do not come to it like regular seed. Maybe because it does not store well? But the chipmunks still come for it.

I ordered these bird seeds because I enjoying feeding the birds that come into my yard. It is definitely waste free. The birds are able to eat all of the seeds with no shells left behind. These seeds do not make a mess in my yard and for that I am grateful. The birds appear to enjoy the seeds as I have several birds to visit my bird feeder to include blue rays, Cardinals, and occasionally a woodpecker. The seeds has a nice earthy smell and it is very easy to store and pour inside the bird feeder container. The color of the seeds are tan with other color seeds mixed in which is probably another reason the birds may be drawn to the food. I enjoy watching the birds enjoy this food. I would definitely recommend this product for all wild bird lovers.
