Great for the price! Love these lights. I have to admit that I did not realize that the light bulb is so exquisite and so cute! Very suitable for the purpose I want them. Solar panels are not only used for stakes in the yard, but I unscrewed them and then drilled them into the wood, which seemed to hold well.

These look great. I hate how limited the controller is though. Setup is pretty easy. It comes with each string pre-spooled and tied off. Don't make the mistake of unspooling it before you hang it up! So much easier to route when they're tied off like that. It's a bunch of little hooks at the top of each strand, perfect for the inside of a curtain rod or a set of blinds. The controller is annoying. First of all, it doesn't turn on with power. You need to press the button every time. The remote switches between 8 preprogrammed modes, and the controller doesn't remember which mode it was using last, so it goes back to the default "cycle through everything" mode. It has a timer, but only supports 6hrs on 18hrs off, which during long dark winter hours isn't nearly long enough. I was hoping to be able to control this with a smart outlet, but the controller makes it impossible unless I get a smart IR emitter to go with it. If you don't care and are happy with the timer (or keeping it on all the time) then it's a great effect. One thing I'm not big on is that it offers a fade between two alternating LEDs, but it's not a smooth fade and fades to off before fading in the next pair. The modes themselves are limited by everything being wired in pairs. For cheap lights though you can't complain too much I guess.

Very cheap and they tango and I was unable to use them because I couldn’t get them to come apart wouldn’t buy it again waste of money

I was out of the country so missed the return window, but if you are looking for a year-round lights with the colors in the picture, look somewhere else. The set I received are much more Christmasy. They will work in the winter time but will look off season in the summer. Very disappointing.
