Made in America with pride Carhartt Quality.!!!!
These things are the Bomb!!!!They are the most comfortable Bibs that I have ever owned. Might even wear them to church to show them off!!I am a 33w32Land purchased a 36W30L length and being afraid of all the negative reviews , took the gamble and after much research made a hole in one with my purchase. I have enough room for paints underneath with long johns and a sweatshirt up top. I must tell you that I am 6 ft and 172lbs and a runners body with 0 body fat. If you have a big stomach go 6 inches up in the waist area, no stomach go 4. Go two inches shorter than your normal paints length to compensate for being coveralls( I own 6 pairs total and all when I order my normal paints length are always too long and when I go two inches shorter they all fit perfectly. These are made in the USA and have the great quality of the clothes made here from years gone past and do not mind paying more for them. the legs are insulated and the top is not which I like and do not restrict me like my other bibs. I wish Carhartt would go back to making all their clothes in the United States because their clothes that are made here seem to be 50 percent better than the stuff they are making in mexico and else where.

Cant get a right fit
The good: The quality seems very sturdy material. Looks like it could last forever. The bad: I'll never know. Couldn't get a right fit. I wear 32 jeans and ordered a 36, based on reviews. The problem isn't in the "waist" but in the belly (and I don't have much of one). The buttons on the side of the overalls tighten up the middle more than the actual waist area. Creates too little room if you want to bend down, kneel, sit, etc. Also, it has legs that are too large - not in length, but in diameter. I tried exchanging for a larger size (38 wasnt available, went up to 40) and now that I have a comfortable amount of room to include a sweatshirt underneath, the legs are GIGANTIC in size. Who has legs this fat?Just disappointed in the odd shape/cut of these overalls.

So far so good
We haven't had them long enough to judge durability. I got these for my husband - he said he wanted to wear over his normal jeans so I went up ONE waist size and he says they fit perfect. I'm not sure where all these crazy size adjustments in the reviews are coming from. He typically wears a Medium shirt and 32X30 jeans, so I bought him 34X30. Anyway, he loves them and is so happy to have something to work outside more comfortably in the winter in Ohio.

Great
I ordered a 40x32. I should've ordered a 40x30, but that was my error. Subzero temps are comfortable with these on. I wear a pair of jeans under them. I'm 5'10" and weigh 170 lbs. I washed them twice and the length did shrink about an inch but I have to wear boots with them or they will drag onto the ground at the bottom/back of the legs. These are well worth the price. Being my first Bibs, I expect to buy a new one yearly, but in a size 40x30.Update:Now that spring is here, these bibs are great and worked perfectly! They are must have in Colorado. When washing them, follow the instructions!I recommend going to your local Carhartt store (Sears?) and trying a pair on to get your sizing perfect. Even if they don't have the lined bibs, they will have the unlined and it's so important you get the length of your bibs right or you will ruin them as they rub on the ground.Next Fall I will buy the unlined version in a different color and may get a size of 38x28. The reasoning for the 38 instead of the 40 is that the lined pair are thick and at times with jeans on underneath, it did get toasty.I've been to my local Sears and have tried on the unlined version which are $30 cheaper, but I could see that as long as I had jeans on underneath and maybe thermals under the jeans, the unlined will be just as comfortable. Obviously you want to buy them on Amazon! The length in the next pair will definitely be a 30" length (instead of the 32 I bought)or maybe even a 28" length, because they adjust in length at the suspenders. So UNDERSTAND this fact: When they say they are a 30" in length, keep in mind that's the shortest length they adjust to. So my 32" in length bibs I bought are 32" at the shortest length possible and they will actually adjust (at the suspenders) 3-4" longer than the length stated!!!!

Great Product, helpful sizing example
Haven't had the opportunity to test them outdoors yet in the winter. But put these on as soon as they arrived on my door step. I'm 6'6" and have about a 33" waist so length and waist sizes I'm always sketchy on, especially online. I read through all the reviews about ordering a couple sizes up in the waist and less in the length, I'd say they're right on.Some reviews state ordering 3-4 sizes up, I'd probably stick with 3. Like I said I'm a 33" inch waist, some jeans are 32" depends on the cut. So I debated back and forth between ordering a 40W or a 38W; and I was definitely skeptical on the length. Typically I wear a 36" inseam jean or khaki, so I was worried about dropping to a 34" Length. I'd say the length portion was SPOT ON, I decided to order the 40" waist and tried them on over jeans. They feel a little big, I think I could have gone with the 38" waist but they're not big enough that I had to send them back.I rated them somewhat small because like the other reviews I read said, you would NOT be able to order what you normally wear in a waist size and have these be comfortable, or fit.As for quality, Carhartt speaks for itself, you just can tell they'll wear like iron. I've had my eyes on these for some time and finally pulled the trigger. As much as I don't like winter, I know these will keep me toasty whenever I need to be outside for extended periods.

einfach Top - eben Carhartt Qualität
Wer einmal Arbeitskleidung von Carhartt hatte, kauft sie einfach immer wieder - etwas teurer als der Durchschnitt aber weit besser.
