They do the job! I had 2 similar bottles.Evidently one sealed better than the other. How did I know? The packet in the bottle with the bad seal was HARD! It sucked up the extra humidity saving the contents.

SBIG no longer provides parts support for their ST-8300 cameras, at least not the desiccant packs. They recommend using molecular sieve desiccant packs, but those are very expensive due to the requirement to purchase in bulk ($90 for 3000). So I was in the market for something a little more affordable when I stumbled on this product; it fits the camera chamber and seems to do the job just fine. Maybe not as good as the recommended desiccant but good enough, and certainly worlds better than nothing. There are enough packs in this package to replace as frequently as needed to maintain optimal chamber dryness. Boo to SBIG for no longer selling their recommended replacement packs for the ST-8300 line of CCD cameras, and yay to Wisesorb for providing an affordable alternative.

Very small packets. I used two at a time.

Packets are tiny, just like I wanted, and easily fit into my husband's weekly pill organizer. One of his pills (Magnesium) attracts water. This caused some of his capsules to melt and stick together. After adding these packets to each compartment this problem has been greatly reduced.
