The covering is slightly extra sweet. So cannot eat more than 5-6. It's not the actual channa as in channa masala, it's the variety used to grind for chutney which is eaten raw.

Great product, I admire its crispiness, the texture of gur coated and the overall packaging. Gud or jaggery usually tends to melt with a sudden increase in temperature or harden with drop in temperature but this product remain as is thus making it a good candidate for ordering online and not worrying about loss of taste in spite of transition times and exposure. Have ordered twice so far and no complaints at all, although it maybe a little hard for the elederly but as I said thats the characteristic of the item. Overall, I recommend!
