Lopper was delivered in time. Blade is sharp.(being a lopper it has only one cutting blade,so the blade goes through the entire cross section of the branch.) Overall build quality is good. I used it to prune overhead branches of Seemakonna tree(Gliricidia sepium) and it worked nicely. Pruning Hibiscus bushes on the hedge was easier.. Cuts are neat. Most of the time i use it with the handles extended. When you cut overhead branches they may come down vertically rather than slanting.So wearing eye protection is a good idea. One thing i like that It is way safer than the traditional Kavathukathi (Locally made heavy pruning knife). Only minus point is that it is slightly heavy ,but you can live with it given its sturdiness and performance. Five stars.

Really good one. I am happy with the item i purchased. But felt like amount is more. But helped for my work. They can reduce the amout, if possible

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It had good reviews. My home help cum gardener used this for the first time today. I noted the branches of various shrubs including Bougainville, Ratnagandhi and lemon tree were cut very easily. It was a sharp contrast to the cutting using the good old sickle. The telescopic handles made it easy to cut branches further inside. Cuts were clean unlike those with sickle. Grip was strong and handles were comfortable. A little heavy ..so may be a little difficult for women to use. Strongly recommend this tool for anybody having a garden.
