R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 300MG of Pure R-LIPOIC Acid 90 Count. ((((MAX Strength))))

My neurologist recommended this for my diabetic peripheral neuropathy. It works. I have been taking it for a few years. Won't be without it. My research showed the R-ALA is more beneficial than the regular kind. When I switched from the regular to the R kind, the difference was noticeable.

UPDATE 3 months later.... I have 100% feeling back in both feet and around a c-section scar that I had total numbness for 11 years now. I have taken other reputable brands of both R and alpha lipoic acid, and had good relief for feet, but still small parts that had less than 100% feeling. The c-section scar never improved with other brands. Wow! Only negative I have is foul smelling urine. Pretty gross, but worth the positives. Thank you for a great product! I highly recommend to neuropathy sufferers every chance I get. I just started using this brand and dose. I'm a type 1 diabetic, 38 years with minimal numbness in feet. I notice improvement in feeling with taking this. Alpha lipoic acid doesn't do much for neuropathy. It definitely has lowered my overall blood sugars, which has made me lower my insulin doses. I haven't had so many spikes like I was having. Great product.

Great product! I used this before and it's one of the best products I have ever used. I have neuropathy issues, and this is a great product for that. I have tried others, but I really like this one.

Had bad pain in one foot and a little less-bad pain in the other. This was my first ALA and I was (still am, for the moment) unsure who to trust here. But I had established for myself that IT HAD TO AT LEAST BE STABILIZED R-ALA, so I took a shot with this one. I began by taking one a day and quickly increased to two. Now, after a couple of weeks, I'm seeing "some" noticeable relief and four stars seems about right. I think it may be unrealistic to expect complete relief - perhaps ever - but I hope more relief in the foreseeable future will let me move foot pain to a back burner and get back to more fully participating in the rest of my life.

This has helped me manage my peripheral neuropathy along with benfotiamine. Tried some other brands when I ran out of these but sad to say they did not work for me. I am happy I have been able to get these again because neuropathy can be a real pain, you know.

This is the only R-Alpha Lipoic Acid I will buy. Why? Because it does not have any other of the other ALA in it that stop the R from working. The R is what you need.

WARNING!!!! IT'S A GREAT SUPPLEMENT BUT, IF YOU DON'T SWALLOW THE CAPSULE IMMEDIATELY, THE ACID WILL CAUSE YOUR LARYNX TO GO INTO SPASM AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BREATHE. YOU WILL GAG AND CHOKE AND HAVE AN INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TIME TRYING TO BREATHE IN AND OUT. YOU WILL WHEEZE VERY LOUDLY AND THINK YOU ARE GOING TO DIE. YOU WILL COUGH UP LOTS OF MUCUS AS YOUR REFLEX MECHANISM TRIES TO CLEAR YOUR THROAT. IT IS EXTREMELY FRIGHTENING. IT TOOK ABOUT FOUR MINUTES FOR MY BREATHING TO RETURN TO NORMAL AFTER I MADE THE MISTAKE OF LETTING THE CAPSULE DISOLVE IN MY MOUTH. THIS AND ALL COMPANIES THAT SELL ALPHA LIPOIC ACID SHOULD HAVE THIS CHOKING WARNING VERY PROMINANT ON THE LABEL AND IN THE ADVERTISEMENT. TAKE THIS SUPPLEMENT WITH GREAT CARE!

I recently switched from taking Alpha-Lipoic Acid to R-Lipoic acid because I read that the "R" form was more effective. While I haven't had any drastic changes, I do feel that these help keep nerve pain at bay. I will continue to take.

Expensive but most effective of all the R-ALA supplements I have bought here. Occasionally goes unavailable which is annoying

After taking for about 2 weeks, my blood glucose spikes are very much moderated.

I’m going to stick with it and see how it goes. Neuropathy sucks.
