Belfry Bogart 100% Wool Men’s Dress Fedora in 5 Colors (Pecan, Large)

It’s an ok hat, but I must admit I’m rather disappointed in this. It’s an ok hat, but the shape is significantly different from the black fedora which I also purchased from Hats In the Belfry. To me, the shape is more reminiscent of a scoutmaster’s hat, rather than a fedora. I wanted the same thing as the black, but in brown to match other outfits, unfortunately this isn’t it. Again, the quality of the hat seems fine, but it definitely is not the same as the other, and at least I couldn’t distinguish the difference from the photos on Amazon.

I was surprised to see that this hat was shipped in a flat envelope. It was a gift and I had to steam it and find a box for it. Also, there is not a feather in the band as shown.

Well-made fits great

I’ve been pleased with this hat. It fits as expected and is an overall good look for the price. It is shipped crushed and pops back into shape but it did require some steaming to get the brim shaped correctly. The brim sat higher in the front than the rest of the hat after being crushed for so long. I hit it with the steam iron and it looks great now. I’ll probably buy a gray one too now that I know it’s worth the money.

The hat I received is very similar to Indiana Jones' hat in color. I was expecting something a bit lighter than that. I still like the hat, but the color is remarkably different from what was pictured. The brim is a bit flimsy, but if you want a nice brim you should pay more for the hat, I think.
