I play football twice a week and have suffered with shin splints for a while. I was recommended to look into insoles. I researched the market and came across these and I'm glad I did. I never realised I had a high arch, since using these for last couple of months I've not had shin splints once. It's also more comfortable than the stock insoles in one of my boots. It's thin, light and has the cushioning support in the correct areas. I just wish it was cheaper though so I could buy multiple pairs to save me having to swap them out. I would advise to definitely follow instructions to measure your arch in order to buy the most appropriate pair. I just stepped on a wet shower floor and then onto paper.

I ordered these after doing some research and these seemed the best, my son plays high level football and is in his boots up to 16 hours a week, after purchasing him a new pair of ‘expensive’ boots I was surprised when he told me they hurt the soles of his feet, hence why I purchased these inner soles, they have worked instantly, I will be purchasing more in the future.

I do not often leave review, it has to be pretty bad or pretty awesome. I am not new to the world of insoles, I've needed ones for years and my children have too, including some specialised ones. These do very little and are overpriced for what they are. They are basically a slim insole of the type you get from Sholl at £5 with a plastic arch support but as the rest of the insole is so supple, it is does next to nothing even when you go for the high profile.

Excellent product but don’t last long. After about 8 games the heel goes. Want to buy more but at nearly £50 a go, they cost more than most boots. Frustrating

Poor quality for a lot of money. Only used for a short game and they have come apart. Can't return as they are used.

I have a pair of Nike Phantoms and they have always given me blisters since I had them. I think its something to do with the studs / blades sticking into my sole of my feet (which I have now fixed using blue tack believe it or not!). I have removed the old insoles and have replaced them with these Currex ones and I must say, what a difference! I have only used them once in a game so far. But already, they feel much more comfortable than my old insoles and a bit more spongy thanks to the material of these insoles. although they are quite expensive, I am very happy with them and am about to buy a second pair for my astro boots now.

I bought a pair of Nike soccer cleats about a month ago and excited as I was to try them out, that quickly evaporated. The insole that came with the cleat was the most basic, flimsy piece of foam that felt like it had been cut out of the same packaging material the cleats came wrapped in. I could feel every stud poking through the sole and heel. A quick search on the Web revealed Currex insoles designed exclusively for soccer cleats. At $60 CAD they were not exactly cheap. But I was not going to be wincing with every step and possibly sustain more injury. I tried out the insoles when they arrived. The same cleats that felt like torture traps turned into amazingly comfortable boots. The difference - Night and day!!! The cleats themselves are great to play in for control and power, but with these insoles they are supremely comfortable as well!! I don't think I'll ever don another pair of boots without using Currex insoles. Worth every penny !! Now I just have to see how they hold up in the long run......

My feet felt like this insole was designed specially for them. Instant comfort. Not too bulky.

I suffer from moderate to severe overpronation and have worn a wide variety of custom orthotics, and off-the-shelf insoles since I was a teenager for both football (soccer) and running. Whilst running shoes have evolved to provide options for overpronators without needing to use custom orthotics, football boots are still the same as they have always been in terms of support for motion control (ie. none). The choice for me for football was always to either wear custom orthotics in football boots, which meant losing touch and control but saving my knees and ankles, or using the stock insoles that came with the boots to retain the correct "feel" in the boots, but resulting in debilitating knee / ankle pain as the season progressed. I am now onto my 3rd pair of Currex CleatPro / ActivePro after trying a number of other insole options designed for football boots. These provide the perfect amount of support and control without sacrificing feel or flexibility.
