Premium Quality Door Flush Bolt with Strike and Screws (Satin Nickel)

I ordered this as part of a temporary solution to an issue that we've had since we moved in. The French doors were broken and one of these latches was bent and the other missing completely. You'll notice some gorilla glue in my picture, which is from my temporary fix until we get the replacement doors. As well as the black screw, which is longer because when the door broke, the original screw took some material with it, so I replaced it with a longer drywall screw. So, since you made it through all that, on to the item in question. The latch comes with the main assembly, receiver plate, and four screws comprised of two sets of two lengths. The latch fit perfectly into the groove in my door and the action is very smooth. It feels pretty solid and the bolt slides easily into the plate. I'm happy with it, I couldn't find it locally and was glad to find it on here for $10.

Bought one to try first: a replacement while fixing/restoring a very old custom-made door. The concern was the fit, whether it'll work. Fits like a glove, works flawlessly. Feels sturdy enough and well made. Buying the 2nd one to finish the job. I did not sue the screws that come with the flush bolt, but just because I have what I think are better ones, but if I did not have mine, I suppose, the original screws would work just fine too.

My door was made in 1994 (+/- a year). This bolt was the right depth and width to fit the existing mortise. I had to lengthen the old mortise about 1/2" to accommodate the additional length. I assume the new length is a modern standard as opposed to the 1990's. Works great with the existing hole in the door jamb.

This was a direct replacement for the lock that needed replaced. It was a perfect fit and took seconds to install. My double doors lock firmly together and I feel much more comfortable and safe with it being installed. I looked all over for this product and it is not found at your local hardware store or even the large home supply like Lowe’s or Home Depot. This was a great buy.

Replaced 2 of these on french doors. Live on waterfront and the salt air kills anything and everything. These replacements were easy to install and look great. Best of all, they WORK perfectly at least for now. I am sure I will be doing a re order in three years due to rust. Shipping was speedy quick.

I've looked everywhere for this hidden inset door mortise lock. It was about a half inch longer than the 25 year old lock in the door. Almost fit….. Rather than alter the door mortise,, I used my shop grinder to shave about a 1/4" from the hidden metal on the top of the lock. Fit's perfectly and the top screw is in a new hole rather than the old one. In most cases,, this is would have been an exact replacement. Color is different but it's on the bottom and a little paint can hid it from you perfectionist… Took five minutes. ed c.

This product replaced another flush mount bolt that had the “flipper” type latch which broke off. This lock works smoothly and provides a better lock due to a longer throw and a more solid rod that enters the recessed hole. It fit perfectly in the mortise in the door where the previous lock had been and looks great in satin nickel.

I've needed this part for a while. It should have even been warrantied and after as many times as I asked them at Lowes for the part and even been told more than 3 times that the part was ordered for me free of charge I even offered to pay for it and was told again......it's been ordered. I'm embarrassed to say how long. This purchase was so simple and it was fixed within minutes of receiving it. I still have some seal work to do to keep air from flowing through but this bolt did it's job.
