Robertshaw 710-502 Millivolt 70,000 BTU Capacity Gas Valve

Works just like it should, just be aware of WHAT you're buying and what parts you may need, if any, in addition to this item to complete your home heater repair project. I had to use a few items from my previous heater, but after those bits and bobs were added (such as the LP conversion kit) it worked great and was significantly cheaper than going though a dedicated heater repair business. That said, this individual product was perfect for what it is designed to do... 10/10

Saved me tons of money. I used Rectorseal #5 and it comes with all the fitments necessary. Easy, but stay working with code for your area. This is probably better than the original parts IMO

Direct replacement. Works great.

After testing the ThermoPile, Thermistor and switches; all testing good, I decided to replace the original valve on a seldom-used 25yr old Heatilator fireplace. This valve has three setup options, my systems is Millivolt and the valve has a wire from the Thermocouple to electrical connection - instructions mention Error in original millivolt design so, I did Not hook-up the Thermocouple from the fireplace, I just installed the Plugs and Thread reducers. Bingo!

This product had a mfg defect discovered immediately on installation. The mfg, over the phone immediately identified the defect, authorized replacement under warranty and instructed that the warranty claim was contracted to and must be processed by the seller. On submission of the warranty claim to Amazon, I was informed by it that it was not the seller and would not disclose contact information to me sufficient to identify the "seller" and obtain the manufacturer approved replacement. I Purchased the replacement directly from a reputable national seller and all is going well

This is a second valve I’ve purchased and both have worked flawlessly!

This compatible for the 7000 MVRLC model. The numbers after the do not seem to be materially significant - xxx-xxx-xxx. Worked perfectly... fittings were identical except the old valve did not require plugs as the casing had them sealed. No big deal as it came with plugs to seal them if not required.

Worked perfectly for converting my wood burning fireplace to natural gas. Easy install. Great price. I would recommend this product.
