Love this device! Makes setting up a breeze!
I love this thing! Maybe it's because I'm a girl, but I always struggled leveling our motorhome (25ft, 2015 LTV Unity). 😆 I ran across this device on an RV blog and immediately began investigating. It didn't take long to realize I had to have it. The box arrived quickly. Yay! I checked out the instructions and You Tube installation video and downloaded the app. Set up was easy and straightforward. I gathered the tools necessary...level, tape measure and small phillips head screwdriver and attached the device to the wall inside a closet. I then took (and wrote down) the required measurements between the tires and set out to find a level spot so I could initialize the unit. It needs to set a basis for "level", so it's necessary to level your rig or find a level spot. That was the hardest part as most all parking lots have some slope for water drainage. I finally found a level area and was good to go. We just returned from a 3 week trip, and at each campground, leveling our Motorhome was a breeze. I was able to move forward/back as necessary to adjust, and if over about 2", I would set up the leveling blocks. It is nice because it tells you how many inches each wheel is out of level (if at all). Really took time off the set up process. The cost is nothing to sneeze at, but if you can swing it...I would highly recommend this device. The unit runs off a 2032 battery and broadcasts a bluetooth signal for an hour after you turn on the app...this is to preserve the battery. EDIT: 7/14/18 - Still enjoying the LevelMate Pro Pro for ease of leveling. The thing that bothers me is the battery situation. Every trip we take after the RV has been in storage awhile...the battery is dead and I have to change it. Not overly convenient in that I installed this in a closet and 4 tiny screws have to be removed. It helps keeping the appropriate screwdriver and stock of CR2032 batteries. I believe the new models have since addressed this. An on/off switch would be very nice to ensure the bluetooth doesn’t broadcast when not needed.

Great device use it on every trip
I think this product works great. I’ve heard people complain about the battery. Life don’t be so cheap. Go by yourself a lithium ion battery to put in it. It does vary if you set it up with your slide outs in versus out, I choose the level of my trailer with a slide outs out and then calibrate this device.

Accurate and easy to use
Great addition to the travel trailer. Set up took about an hour with a helper to make sure it was perfectly level before saving. Cuts down the setup time when you get to your site. The bluetooth connection never failed. Would highly recommend. We sold the trailer a few months ago, and I left this installed as a gift to the next owner. Hope they found it under the counter top.

An Invaluable Tool for the Solo Newbie; Highly Recommended!
Before my first solo RV trip, I was very intimidated at the prospect of leveling my RV by myself. Friends had told me that leveling had nearly caused them to get divorced, and so I had investigated hydraulic levelers that cost from $2,500 to nearly $4,000. I decided instead to invest $145 in the LMP to save the cost, added weight, and ongoing maintenance of hydraulic levelers, and I am very glad I did. I just completed my first trip in a 24’ Class C dually RV, and highly recommend the LevelMate Pro (LMP.) I installed the LMP in the center of the RV, near the ceiling above the closet door next to the fridge. This location gives it direct line of sight to the console next to the driver’s seat, where I set my iPhone 12 Max Pro. It is also a location where it will be easy for me to unscrew it and take it down to change the battery when I need to later on. The LMP was well packaged with user friendly instructions. Installation was easy to do, and took less than half an hour. I had downloaded the app before I left on my trip, which expedited the installation process. When I arrive at a campsite, I immediately turn on the LMP and then the app, and use it to find the most level spot at the site. In many cases I don’t need to use levelers. But when I do need levelers, I use the LMP to help me try to find a spot where I only need to level two wheels instead of three, which simplifies the leveling process. The LMP tells me how many inches I need to raise each wheel, which helps me know how to position my levelers. Even as a newby, I found that I could level my RV on the first try instead of having to make multiple attempts. I have had no problems maintaining connectivity with the app. All my campsites so far have had cellular access. I am guessing that if I ever camp where I can’t get a cell signal, it may not work because of how Bluetooth handles location, but I actually don’t know that for a fact. Once the RV is level, I set my parking brake and then shift into park, turn off the LMP unit, turn off the app, and then set my chocks. FWIW, the levelers I use are some combination of legos, 18” 2 x10s, and Beechlane curved levelers. I recently decided to cut up a 1/2” horse stall mat from Tractor Supply into 8” x 18” pieces to use under the curved levelers and as a replacement for the legos, which are starting to break from age and use, but haven’t tried that yet.

I will never again have a camper without this!
Have you ever arrived at your campsite later than intended (you know you have, its always later than intended!), and now it is getting dark, the bugs are swarming like crazy, and you're and tired & hungry with a family that is as well? Then to top it off, you get the honor of having to do the level-dance of checking those cheap stick-on bubble levels with your headlamp or flashlight while adding blocks of various thicknesses trying to get it close-enough while backing up and pulling forward so many times you can do it straight from muscle memory without even paying attention? Combine the LevelMate with a good set of crescent-shaped drive-on levelers and set up is an absolute breeze! Turn it on, back your rig to where you want it to be, check which side is low, pull forward a few inches and slip your levelers in place, back up onto them and stop when it tell you that its level. Its SO easy and quick! I saw this product by chance when looking for drive-on-levelers and thought, 'Oh, thats kinda neat, but seems like just like a spendy lazy-persons thing ' and kept on scrolling. Literally the next camping trip we took I said 'That's it! I am ordering that thing!'. Every trip out since I thank myself for doing so. If you're like me, and looking at reviews because you're not quite sure, or maybe don't want to fork out the $, I get it. Its worth every penny and you WILL thank yourself every single time you use it! I have had it for two seasons now and my only regret is spending so many years without one!

Saves lots of time
So, yes. One has to take the time to set it up and then nudge the settings. I sent back my first one and got the pro only because I can have it permanently connected to external power. That's all for the negative. That drops my 5 star rating to 4.999. I remember the olden days (before I purchased this device) when it would often take me an hour to level my camper. Drive onto my leveling blocks. No. Too much. Try again. Nope. Not enough. Over and over and that after a long drive. Enter the LevelMatePro. I find the spot I want to park. It tells me which side is too low and how much. I get out of the truck and mark where I want the wheels, drive forward a foot or two and place my levelers (kind of a curved triangle you drive onto) which I bought at the same time at that marked point. Back onto the leveler looking at the LevelMatePro which tells me when I'm level. I get out of the truck, chock the wheels, and lift the tongue to unhitch. I save that height on the LevelMatePro software and drive the truck away from the camper. I then (usually) lower the tongue until level while watching the LevelMatePro to tell me when I'm level. I set the stabilizers. Job done. Total time: 5 - 10 minutes depending on how long it takes to set my stabilizers and disconnect the truck. The time I save is then spent out on the lake in my kayak instead of being spent in frustration trying to level my camper. That my friend makes it worth every penny I spent on it. I highly recommend the levelers to go along with the LevelMate to get very accurate and quick leveling.

No more running back and forth!
Value: When I pull into the site I already know which side to put my ramps before I get them out. And for some reason they put my bubble level in the back of my trailer so I was either running back and forth or trusting my wife to give me correct information when I can barely hear her screaming from behind the trailer, which is halfway nice I suppose. So, now it's just too simple, I feel like I'm cheating the system. Do you have to have it? No, but if you can afford it and like to save time then it's definitely a great purchase. Installation: I think once I decided where I wanted it it took a whole 5 minutes to setup. I installed mine behind my TV for a couple reasons, one is I can plug it in at all times and never worry about batteries or charging. Even though the wall is at an angle it still works perfectly. Otherwise, mounting it in a storage bin with access to DC is next best. Apparently this will convert any voltage from 3-12vdc on it's own. But I do recommend using screws to mount this. I tried snap lock velcro and while it works, this unit is so accurate that any small movements will give you a false reading, you really want it flush and solid. Setup is so easy even Biden could do it... Well maybe not. But anyway. Features: It pretty simple, which is nice. You get it for one thing and it does it well. Besides telling you how level you are, it has a hitch recall so you can save your hitch height and get it just right before backing up to it. All in all, I don't have anything bad to say. I love it and you probably will too!
