I work as an IT infrastructure engineer, and I've always had a little torch in my rucksack. I was after a head torch about 18 months ago, as sometimes it's useful to have both hands free, and this was a new model with no reviews at the time. It's absolutely superb. You can vary the intensity of light to suit, but I tend to just use it on maximum most of the time, which is plenty bright enough for my needs. I've not timed it, but a full charge of the built-in rechargeable battery will give me a good few hours at full brightness, and it seems to keep the charge well when it's in my bag for weeks on end. It may be a little heavy for exercising with, but I don't really notice the weight when I'm working up a ladder or similar. The strap is comfy, and the torch clamp is secure enough that the unit stays where you point it. I find being able to rotate the beam 180 degrees really useful, as is being able to remove the torch to use in hand, or clip it to my t-shirt with the built in clip. The only slight negatives for me are the micro-USB connection, that it's not magnetic, and it does get warm with prolonged use (not hot, though!) but the rest of it is absolutely bob-on; a really well designed and well executed product, which has been done everything asked of it with little fuss. If I lost this one, I'd buy another in an instant.

Amazing output compared to my other head torch (Energiser 400 Lumen). For me, mainly walking the dog, it could be better by having a more concentrated beam: giving it a longer throw of light. I did not want so much light to the side. The only instruction on the supplied leaflet is regarding the "Turbo" setting and that does not make it clear that the lamp has to be switched on before "press and hold". Turbo only lasts for about 20 seconds, then the lamp reverts to its normal setting. the headband feels secure and as comfortable as you would expect. Easy charging with the supplied lead. It is Micro usb. I cannot understand why that would be a reason for a one star review and a return of the lamp. Overall pleased with a product that seems to hold its own against headlamps at twice the price.

Best torch I have ever bought. Bit pricey but definitely worth the money.

Expensive but good product.

Long battery life, incredibly bright, what's more, it can also be reasonably dim, which is important for maximising battery life, and protecting the eyeballs of coworkers. Also doesn't include unnecessary functions such as a red light, and flashing (unless specific inputs are made), which I prefer. Can't mention durability, as I've always handled this with care, but it's been perfect. Great addition to hard hat.

Torch feel a short distance ( less the a 1m ) Now no longer works , had Torch for site work ,looks solid enough but its really not worth the money. Look elsewhere , i am !

The product is super powerful and comes with a rechargeable battery and a headband, making it highly recommended. However, one downside is the use of an older USB connection, which might not be as convenient. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied with it, especially considering the price. Perfect for running or DIY.

Bon produit, avec la possibilité de changer l'accumulateur si besoin. Pour la recharger, on est sur l'ancien standard USB2, mais ce n'est pas vraiment gênant.

Ich benutze eine Stirnlampe ausschliesslich zum Laufen in den frühen Morgenstunden: Positiv: - Lichtstark - Stabiles Gehäuse Negativ: - Gewicht - Plastikhalterung für das Stirnband - Micro USB Anschluss Fazit: für alles andere als Laufen ist das eine sehr gute Stirnlampe. Fürs Laufen ist sie einfach zu schwer um sie auf der Stirn zu tragen. Sie wippt sich dann langsam runter oder das Stirnband muss so stark eingestellt werden, dass es nicht mehr angenehm zu tragen ist. Micro-USB: das Gesetz tritt erst Ende des Jahres in Kraft. Das sagt allerdings einiges zum Unternehmen in Bezug auf Nachhaltigkeit aus.
