GBC 54x86mm 2x125 Micron Gloss Card Laminating Pouches, Pack of 100, 3740300

When GBC states the size of their laminating pouches, eg A4, they are usually slightly oversize so you can laminate an A4 sheet and have a small margin all round to seal the edges of the sheet. Not so with this size. These are actually 54x86mm overall so they will fit in the usual pockets for credit cards. Because of the bonded edge holding the 2 surfaces together, the largest card you could accommodate with no overlap is 54x83-84mm depending on the card thickness. If want the edges sealed, it would need to be smaller in both dimensions. Consequently, these pouches are not really suitable for the 54x86mm credit card sized cards that are readily available precut. Be aware that you will probably need to make your own cards, or trim the shop bought ones. These pouches have rounded corners so trimming your own won't be straightforward unless you want the cards undersize so you can seal the edges. Apart from that, excellent product.

Meistens bekommt man Laminierfolien im Scheckkartenformat nur in einem Laminierfolien-Set mit anderen Größen. Dann sind meistens auch nicht viele enthalten und die anderen Größen braucht man eigentlich nicht. Ich habe aber immer mal wieder Projekte, bei denen ich Unterlagen im Scheckkartenformat einlaminiere. Vor allen Dingen QR-Codes, die man normalerweise auf dem Smartphone hat. So zum Beispiel den digitalen Impfausweis für die Corona-Impfung. So was habe ich lieber zusätzlich noch in „Papierform“. Aktuell ist es unser neues Job-Ticket, das nicht mehr als Chipkarte angeboten wird, sondern nur noch als Ticket und QR-Code in der Deutschen Bahn App. Dafür sind die Laminierfolien perfekt. Sie haben Scheckkartenformat und passen mit den abgerundeten Kanten prima in das Portemonnaie. Dabei lassen sie sich sehr gut laminieren, sind wasserdicht, haltbar und die QR-Codes lassen sich gestochen scharf abscannen. Und mit 100 Stück bin ich erstmal für Jahre ausgerüstet. Dazu sind sie mit aktuell 3,49 Euro auch noch günstig. Aber selbst bei dem regulären Preis von 4,14 Euro sind sie nicht zu teuer. Ich kann das Produkt hundertprozent empfehlen. 5 Sterne!
