Worth the expense for quality product
Although a little pricey so glad we decided to buy, our spaniel has arthritis and was finding jumping up on the sofa difficult. I did wonder if the bed would be used enough to warrant the spend but she actually doesn't get out of it! Best thing I've ever bought. Is obviously comfortable, but also good quality and cover easily comes off to clean.

The dog is worth it. Bed not cheap.
Our dog loves this bed. Memory foam mattress for a lovely lab.

Get the right size for your dog.
So our new dog bed has just arrived and we are super pleased with it. As is the dog. I read the reviews and bought the extra large for my Labrador even though the description said a large. We should have bought a large. It would be ample for our lab. She easily fits in one half with room for another lab or spaniel etc. We will keep this one, see how we get on and probably buy the large for our normal dog bed place on the kitchen. We bought this bed as our lab has hip dysplasia and showed sign of soreness while on holiday. I have to say she looks so much more comfortable now. Very relaxed and we are much less worried and upset. If we had a tape measure we most probably would have got the size right. Never mind.

My dog loves it
Bought this for my 12 year-old cocker spaniel. She loves it! It was a bit expensive, and took a while to arrive as I believe it was shipped from the US, but I have no regrets. She deserves it! After 9 months its still as good as new.

Help!!!!!
When my two beds arrived, by mistake I undid the zip that contains the bolster rather than the one underneath to put in the memory foam. I absolutely COULD NOT get the bolster back in the material. It is obviously much longer than the material, so I was pushing and pushing to concertina it, while trying to zip it up. Eventually I had to ask a neighbour for help as I had already spent half an hour trying. At this rate I will never wash it, as it is easy to get off, but terribly difficult to replace. Any hints please??

Buy this bed
My 9 year old staffy/labarador has arthritis and loves this bed. It’s well made, thick mattress, expands well after use, sturdy ledge around the sides. I got the large; a medium would have been fine but he likes plenty of wiggle room. I did a lot of researching before deciding to purchase this bed. If you are looking for the perfect bed, don’t hesitate.

Comfy bed
Excellent bed, have a Jack Russell, could fit 2 in it. Sides really sturdy for him to flop his head over. Great memory foam, well pleased 👍

XL bed
Was worried the XL bed wouldn’t be large enough for my 50kg mountain dog cross but I needn’t have been. He loves it & there’s enough room for my cocker spaniel to sleep with him too. I’ve never seen him sleep & snore so deeply since getting this bed & it’s helping his sore joints. It’s worth every penny.

My dog doesn't like new things, except some toys. He doesn't like it when I clean his crate, or move pillows or blankets around. I was worried that he wouldn't like this bed. He doesn't like it; he loves it. The bed is as advertised - thick memory foam and a good bolster around the side. It's not too soft - just right for him apparently. Maybe the bolsters could be a bit stronger so they don't sag to the side a little bit, but that's nothing. The bed is great and looks great. I got the large for my 55 lbs dog - seems like a perfect fit.

Update - after two full months of use and daily vacuuming I’m happy to report that this bed is still doing really well. I vacuum it with the pet tool and the hair comes up easily. There are no signs of wear and when our senior Aussie starts licking her paws or legs the bed does get wet but it dries just fine. Both our aussies love the bed and even though the enormous size has been an adjustment it is nice that our tall Aussie shepherd has a place where she can completely stretch out. So far so good. Our Aussies loved their old dog bed, which we purchased because of the good reviews on Amazon. This bed was great but the cover failed - I'm looking at you BarksBar - and even though the bed was great, within a week there were holes in the cover where our girls would sleep. Our girls do not chew or pick. They are senior dogs who just sleep. The BarksBar bed was 40x30. I was worried because this Friends Forever bed measured 44x34 on the outside. I am here to tell you, this bed is HUGE. Both our girls - 71 pounds and 53 pounds can comfortably fit in this bed together and nap. I posted a photo above of the BarksBar bed next to the Friends Forever bed and our 71 pound Aussie is stretched out in the Friends Forever bed. In the BarksBar bed she fit, but her feet hung over the edge or her butt hung out the side. The Friends Forever she fits completely. The Friends Forever bed does have a smell. The memory foam pad that goes in the bottom of the bed smells like a memory foam pad. We have had it in our bedroom for two full days and the smell has dissipated significantly. It did not bother our dogs at all. We turned on a floor fan directly on the bed and the ceiling fan to air the room out and help the bed air out faster. Unfortunately it is snowing like crazy at our house or we would have just put the whole bed outside. I test out every single dog bed that comes into our house because our oldest senior Aussie (pictured above) has degenerative arthritis in her hips and she has a hard time getting comfortable at night. Honestly, I could sleep on the Friends Forever bed. That memory foam is extremely comfortable and it supported my weight of 150 pounds, so I know it supports my girls' weight. I vacuum all the beds in our house every afternoon and then all the covers get washed as needed and every couple months. This bed has been vacuumed twice and the hair come off no problem. I also spray each bed with Odoban to kill any germs and keep the beds smelling good. I will report back after the first washing.

Great product. Easy to wash and my senior dog seems to enjoy laying on it. Would purchase again or recommend.

I upgrade my 75-pound golden retriever's bed from a so-called "orthopedic foam" bed (Furhaven) to this real memory foam bed (Friends Forever)! Boy oh boy, the difference is day and night - the memory foam is so supportive and does not sink. It definitely worths the price tag. I got the size XL, so my dog can stretch out in all directions. She loves to rest her head on the bolsters like a pillow. This bed is made with a high-quality memory foam (feels like my own memory foam mattress) and has very little odor when I first unpacked it. The bed comes with a liner that seems to be water-resistant. The fabric of the liner is slippery, so it helps the memory foam to be easily inserted into the main bed lounge frame. The fabric of the outside bed cover is suede, which makes it 10 times easier to clean than the fleece surface. UPDATE: Had this cover for more than a year and had to clean it few times since my dog has a flea problem. The first two wash were fine. But the backing of the bed started to come off as of wash 3. The backing was meant for minimizing the movement of the bed, and they were attached to the bottom of the bed. By the 3rd wash, they were coming off so bad and they were everywhere in the washer and in the dryer. It is a good bed, but I wish for the price I paid for it, it is better than merely 3 washes.
