'Tick Away', thank heavens for 'Tick Away'. We have a long haired, extremely bad tempered ginger cat called 'Barry'. Now, Barry doesn't let us stroke him normally (unless he's sick) without some kind of parting bite or scratch that usually leaves some kind of scar. (I've given up on my life long ambition of becoming a 'hand model' purely because of this cat. ;) ) Imagine then our absolute horror, when he rocked up one day with a large, white, very noticeable tick above his left eye. My partner was leaving for work, and told me that I would have to look up ways of removing this unwanted guest. 'Tick Tweezers' seemed the most popular way online, and the 'YouTube' videos made it look so easy, with the often very docile cat sitting there while its owner pulled it about. I knew that Barry wouldn't be up for this, and I remembered the hissing and dirty looks he gave me each time it was feeding time. No, it would have to be another way with Barry. I feverishly searched the internet, and let out a small 'whoop' when I found 'Tick Away'. It arrived quickly, and with one spray, the tick was dead! Hurrah! The great thing about it is that you get so much, you can let your cats roll around in as many bushes as they like - you have enough for multi applications! Seriously though, we have 8 cats. (Yes, I said 8...) This stuff is peace of mind. For the price - it is decent. It came quickly, and was packaged well. This is a must have for cat owners - especially now we're in 'tick season'.

This has strong chemical scent. We usually use natural products but we had a tiny flea that wouldn't budge. This worked but only use as a last resort.

Great price and works well especially on young kittens.

Didn't work

Our new kitten had fleas at just 8 weeks old. The poor thing was really suffering, despite us bathing her in a very mild flea shampoo soak. This stuff has quite a strong smell at 1st (fades when dry) but did the job - within 24 hrs our little girl was free of fleas 🙏😺

I have been bathing my cat daily and using every product I could find to try and get rid of the fleas as she came to us covered in them, I received this product today and instantly after using the spray I started to see fleas and they where dead!! I got as many as I could off her before she because restless, would 100% recommend this product! It does have a very strong smell but as it smells like alcohol hand gel it didn't bother me too much and my kitten is already seeming a lot more comfortable 🩷

I will never use this on my cat again. The adverse affects were truly scary. My cat frothed at the mouth, was tweaking and twitching with head jerks, I feel at one point she hulucinayed, she would shriek if I went near her as if she didn't know me. For 2 days she wouldn't or couldn't eat. Then she became mournful. It took more than 3 days before she calmed down, she didn't like the spray sound, so I had to spray my hand and then try rub into her fur. To be honest the experience was too traumatic for me, there was one point I was going to make an emergency vet appointment. And to top that all off, with her going through all of that, she still has fleas, and they have multiplied rather than depleted. Now I'm.acared to give her anything else till this is out of her system. For dogs maybe yes, but for cats, I personally wished I had believed the reviews. I wished the reviews were more informative than just stay away, not fit for purpose etc. I would err on the side of caution, and if a cat must have, then let it be for a cat and not a kitten. My kitty is 8 months old, nearly 9.

Good for pups or kittens

I like that this product will not make the fur wet and it will be powdery.
