Great sugar sub. Not a sugar alcohol. No aftertaste or GI upset
Glad to get this big size. I use a lot of allulose: coffee, cereal, baking, on fruit and yogurt. My blood sugar has been lower now that I'm using this. Also, no stomach upset. I will say it acts differently in baking. You have to bake at a lower temperature. For example 300-325 vs 350 or things will burn. And you may need to use it with other sweeteners like regular sugar, erythritol(some studies say it may lead to blood clots or heart issues) or xylitol(only if you don't have dogs, xylitol is fatal to dogs).Otherwise your baked goods will not be crispy. They'll be soft. I made sugar free maple and chocolate syrup with it. Allulose is not a sugar alcohol and has been found to be safe. I haven't had any stomach or intestinal issues with it. No aftertaste.

Mimics sugar but at a much higher price
I drink a lot of sweetened, homemade iced tea. I wanted to cut down on my calorie intake so I tried this product. It has a sweetening effect nearly-identical to sugar. One needs to use about a third more allulose to obtain the same sweetening as is indicated in its instructions. The only downside is it is much more expensive than table sugar. I've also tried monk fruit extract powder and it's "OK" and less expensive but it's sweetening effect is delayed with the iced tea application and does have a slight additional taste which is not present with allulose. EDIT: I'm going to amend my review. I've found that using this product gives me gastrointestinal issues. Rumbling intestines and diarrhea. Other users may have a different response. Typically, I'm not sensitive to much of any kind of food but I had to stop using this product. I wish I could tolerate it but unfortunately, it has a negative effect on me.

Not as sweet as some sweetners
Clean sweet taste. It is only about half as sweet as Truvia. I have been using this product to cut back on adding sweetness to my coffee. I started out using four packets per cup. I am down to only one. I can’t explain it, but I was never able to do that with other sweeteners.

Good product
Love this stuff. Doesn't spike my blood sugar and it tastes sweet without having to use a LOT.

The volume per packet is ridiculously small.
Compare with how much sugar is in a sugar packet and then keep in mind that allulose is like 20% less sweet than cane sugar is. This is a laughable amount to put in an individual packet. I assume this so that they can give you less product but make it look like they're giving you more by dividing it into 300 packets. I don't really want 75 packets worth of sweetener and 300 packets though, I'd rather you just give me the 75. The whole reason I bought these was to have a healthier sweetening option at work, but having to open a million little packets really isn't a lot more convenient than just bringing a sandwich bag of my bulk allulose from home. Yeah, I know allulose is expensive, but this seems a little shady. On the positive side, the flavor is pretty good without a noticeable aftertaste or any digestive issues. I like that this is pure allulose rather than an allulose-monk fruit or stevia blend. The packaging was also good quality.

Great for baking
Great for baking, good sugar replacement. Still has good Maillard reaction/browning to create color when baking. Slightly less sweet but still effective for baking, can pair with monk fruit for even more sweetness Recommend this product
