Like the title said, it is a good solid hunk of metal that does its job, hold a tablet/cellphone or an extra 15 inch screen.

Very nice and well-built stand, sturdy and not flimsy in any way. I put some extra weight on the base piece and this works perfectly with my Lenovo M8 tablet. Can be adjusted to various height levels, I tried another plastic base unit and this blows it away completely. Excellent product all-around.

I found the unit to be built very strong and sturdy. It can hold the wait of my 15" Portable monitor without any issues. I feel that it will also have no issues holding a 17" monitor as well
