ABSOLUTELY AWESOME TACTICAL LIGHT
I bought this one to replace one that went missing. Hopefully I find it. The HIGH beam is extremely powerful and the two lower beam settings allow for great use in a variety of situations. The 3400 Amp hour battery has great capacity even using the high beam. The batteries are USP rechargeable so you can always have a fresh power cell available. I you need a very powerful, compact light that will really light things up, this is a great choice. Be safe out there Steve M Boise, Idaho BTW, there is NO Z in Boi-see

A lot of punch for the money
Terrific duty light. I use this light nightly. In my own testing, I've found it to punch through the photonic barrier of a patrol vehicle with all warning lights and take downs active, along with high beam headlights from a distance of 10 yards well enough to identify the number of occupants and see details of clothing or items inside. Its a good miniature hand held spotlight on its turbo setting. Far and away much brighter than my former favorite working light - the Streamlight PolyTac - and it uses the same batteries. Two complaints I do have, which are just essentially screaming at God about physics - battery life in turbo mode is not great. 1700 lumens and 39,000 candela will do that. The other - again physics - all that power means the light head gets screaming hot, pretty quickly. This is not a "set it and forget it" light - I run mine for 30 seconds before I let it cool a bit. Helps with battery life, and helps prevent burns. I have accidentally bumped this light on, in the light carrier, while seated in my patrol rig and quickly found myself with singed work pants and softened kydex on my light carrier at the muzzle end. Ouch! I paired this light up with a Thyrm SwitchBack and I'm happy as can be, honestly. I carry an extra battery at work for those times when I use the light a LOT (currently working 12 hour overnight shifts, so it happens a good bit) and I carry a charging cable so I can charge batteries at work as well. Battery change only takes a few seconds, screw off the light head, swap batteries, screw the light head back on and you're in business. I find the modes very functional as well - putting in low mode gives loooooooong battery life, and a good indoor working light for administrative tasks like finding keys under a desk. Great value of a light.

My Favorite flashlight
This is my second PD35, I'm still using my first version 1 edition light I purchased around 2016. The size is great to hold in your hand as you're out walking the neighborhood at night. The multiple options for brightness is perfect, I usually use at lower light levels unless I'm wanting to light up the block. Coming with two batteries is perfect since my older PD35 was in need. Super nice that you can now charge the batteries via a USB cable vs old school using a battery charger station.

i love this light.
This is a great little flashlight. I'm in a wheelchair most of the time and have a device that attached the PD35 to my wheelchair. It allows me to see where I'm going at night, like the light on a motorcycle. I really like the UBB-cable rechargeable battery. So much that I bought 2 more to keep them charged up. When one goes down, I just grab a fresh one for the PD35 and plug in the depleted one - it works great. There is also a button on it that toggles up thru different levels of brightness. What didn't know about this button was that there is a little light in it's center. When you press to on/off button at the end, if the ltttle light flashes green, your battery is good. If it flashes red, it's time to put in a fresher, higher charged, battery.

Just buy it already.
When you want the best quality, design, functionality, customer service, warranty, and value… buy ANY Fenix. I own 11 Fenix lights. Yes, you can buy 10 cheap flashlights for the price of 1 Fenix. But the 1 Fenix will outlast your family tree. Totally justified.

Love it.
I bought this to replace a PD32 I’ve had for 10-15 years. It’s noticeably heavier, in a good way. Noticeably brighter, in a good way. I love it. One small, puzzling oversight tho. It was shipped with a USB C charging cable. The batteries use a Micro USB. We should all have a dozen or so of each in a drawer somewhere. I did. But makes me wonder about attention to detail in the long run.

Bright
Very bright light nice and compact can fit in your pocket. I like that it comes with an extra battery. You can change the brightness as well as you can see in the video. It seems to get a little hot pretty quick.
