Many uses. Works well.
I purchased this because it supposedly removes toxins when consumed, but I’ve tried it a few other ways. I’ve found certain uses work better for me (#2 &3), so overall am happy with the versatility and “results”. 1. Drinking on an empty stomach. I mixed it with water and drank it first thing in the morning (didn’t eat for 1-2 hours after). Did this about 1-2x a week for about a month, but didn’t notice much difference. 2. Applying topically to remove oils. Mixing with a dash of water and using as a body scrub or mask helped remove oil/sweat. Downside is getting it fully removed requires attention to detail, but toner or rubbing alcohol help. 3. Consuming after food intolerances. I read charcoal was commonly used in hospitals to help with poisonings. There were two instances where I ate something that upset my stomach (likely allergic reaction), and 30 mins after drinking a dash of this with water, I felt significantly better. (I’m not a doctor) 4. Teeth whitening. Used once and helped remove stains, but supposedly it can strip the enamel since it’s abrasive. It has a weird texture if you consume it, but you only need a small amount. Be sure to rinse the glass right after since it stains (and didn’t come out in the dishwasher).

Tasteless
This product is 100 percent tasteless. I drank it in water. It has a tiny grit but super fine. It is not difficult to drink at all. (Granted don’t over do it with the ratio of liquid and charcoal.) I brushed my teeth with it about 3-4 times. My mouth felt really clean and it did seem to whiten my teeth a little after just a few uses. The grit is so fine (much more than baking soda—so I recommend over that) I did not feel I was damaging my enamel. I do advise caution not to use daily for too long since I have concerns this could draw out calcium from your teeth as it has a magnetic (adsorption) quality. I am not qualified to say either way, but I would play it safe. Same holds for its use internally. Do your research on activated charcoal.

Dyed choux paste
Used to make black choux buns for a croquembouche. The colour was perfect. The buns came out really well. Did not affect texture, rise or flavour.

Great product I expect great many more uses.
I read of the numerous benefits of this product. I will be using it for a skin thing my son has. I have used it as a tooth powder, boy this stuff make a huge difference in my eldest childs teeth. The youngest child had these adorable pearly whites and my oldest had these tented teeth that did not appear to be stained but were for sure not white. The dentists explanation was that younger children have more enamel and teeth are not naturally white, "Blah blah blah. " "Guess, what this activated charcoal made the dentist a super lie!" Baby boys teeth are white and almost as white as mine. As far as teeth go this stuff is great in my book. I love how the charcoal coats the teeth and makes brushing tremendously more thorough as well. Because, my children are able to visually, see what spots if any that have been neglected (in my eldest case he had an entire top row of teeth that were untouched). I was able to visually point it out, and it makes for a better out come. I don't think this will be an every day regimen, but I stand by the product thus far.

Works Great
Highly recommend if you use it properly. Quick delivery too. Tried it immediately upon arrival. The seal was broken, however. You only need to use a very little. Work it around your teeth. It is not to be used like regular toothpaste where you are brushing away, otherwise you will damage your enamel. Swish it around your mouth because it's the activated charcoal itself that does the job of cleaning and whitening. It whitened very well, in fact, and on the very first use. I used even less the next morning, and it whitened just as well when I used it after morning coffee. Folks are insane to use fluoride products. Just use activated charcoal (not any of the fluoride free products either since they have other undesirable additives.) and get food grade aloe and swish with it.

Like talculm powder....so soft! Love it!
I've had a hard time finding a GOOD activated charcoal powder that was actually a.....powder, not gritty granuals, and this is it!!!! Its like talculm powder...its so soft. Its the same texture as micronized powder that I've bought from other vendors, but its from coconut shells from Sri Lanka. I've used this to brush my teeth and gums with and it DOES make a difference. Its almost like I've had a professional cleaning! It is a 1.5 oz (43g) jar that you do need to poke a small hole into the vacuum seal BEFORE you open it to release the pressure, or you will have black powder EVERYWHERE. Just use a pin or the tip of a knife to poke the hole, then carefully remove the safety seal..... I also use this for detox, for if I start getting sick (since its the toxins from some illnesses, like the flu, that make you feel just as bad as the virus itself), and a myriad of other uses..... Its a small jar (43 grams to be exact) , but its a very good quality product. I would happily buy this in larger quantities....although, it does last quite a while, there's just more and more I keep finding I can use this for! Either keep it tightly closed, OR transfer some of it to another good tightly sealing jar for more regular use, so that you can keep the main portion from absorbing air and losing its freshness and "activity", as much as possible....also, don't use metal utensils or bowls with activated carbons or they will lose their "activity".

Good quality, good price
As described in the description. Helped with our tummy aches when mixed in water. Mixed well when I made it into a paste as a whitening agent. Texture was grainy but quality is good since it’s derived from coconut shells. Would get again :)

This is a truly fantastic product! Whilst on holiday last year had the opportunity to try charcoal bead - absolutely delicious but couldn’t find it anywhere locally so decided to make my own. This is perfect! You only need 1-2 teaspoons per recipe so this little tub will last well. No real obvious taste - certainly not overwhelming or anything. Take care when handling - if you spill any it goes a long way and gets everywhere lol!! I’m glad I got it in a screw-top jar/tub and not a bag! If you are researching for cooking - stop scrolling- this is the product you need!!

I like that this comes in a glass container and not a toxic plastic container.

Zwart poeder is dit. Zeker geen geactiveerde houtskool. Het bruist niet in water en doet dus niks. Het kan een fabrieksfout zijn maar let op of het poeder in water bruist de eerste tellen. Zo niet dan is het dus een fout product.

I'm on my second bottle of this and I'm very happy. I originally bought it so that I could use it for a detox drink and have found that it helps clear out my system. I was afraid that there would be a Taste even when other people said that there was no taste, however, when I did try it there is actually no taste at all I can even taste the water. I also use this to whiten my teeth And have been happy with the results.
