Does exactly what we needed
Used to replace broken fan control circuit on Radeon graphics card for my son's gaming computer. Works great. Designed & printed a mount that clips onto the fan case. Find at Thingiverse.

Doesn't work
This is supposed to be a temperature control PWM fan controller. No matter the setting the fans were at full speed, regardless of the temperature. Retuned

only 1/2 what i orderd
I ordered 2 of these, i got 1 and some usb adapter i didnt order? the part works exactly as advertised if you get the correct one.

Works, but not quite as expected
This came with no instructions. Also, the temperature probe cable is only about 4 inches long. I was hoping that at low temperatures, the fan would be stopped, but 20% is the minimum. I copied some information from another user on Discord, and added my own edits. Below is the summary: “After spending quite a bit of time of searching (and looking at other board model numbers that are identical), I found a document on how to configure it. (Search for ZFC39) Turns out it's not quite as I expected.” The DIP switches setting are: “SW1 sets the low-speed limit on FAN 1. On is 40%, off is 20%. SW2 and SW3 are the temperature set points (there is a chart online, but default is ramp up at 35 C and full speed at 45 C). SW4 and SW5 are the RPM alarms for FAN 1 and 2 respectively. Alert will sound at less than ~700RPM. Resets automatically. Now for the unexpected parts: Only FAN1 is controlled by the temp probe. The other two fans are controlled by the potentiometers on the board. So while you can control the speed of FAN2 and FAN3, they are manually adjusted from 0 to 100% speed. Also, FAN3 is not RPM monitored, so if you have the alarms on (BF1 and BF2 on), only FAN1 and 2 will sound an alarm if stopped. FAN3 will not. As I happen to be good with a soldering iron, I was able to remove a FAN2 and 3 PWM lead component (resistor) and add a jumper from FAN1's PWM and tied it to FAN 2 and 3. This allows the temp probe to control all three fans and the POTs have no function. Now it behaves quite nicely and as I wanted. But can only give 3 stars as I had to modify it to get the expected behavior.” There are several other units on Amazon that look identical to this one, and probably work the same.

Neat little fan controller
It works very well for my project and I am happy with the product. It seems well built and reliable. It wasn't quite what I expected though. The description is a bit vague, so here's exactly how it works: There are 3 PWM fan outputs. Output 1 is the only output that is variable speed with the temperature. This outputs speed range is configured via the DIP switches. All other outputs are fixed speed, adjustable by turning the dials on the pcb. The alarm function works for all outputs.
