Facefinity Refillable Compact Foundation

i am a powder foundation defender so i was keen to try this product, i usually stick with Maybelline but this didn't disappoint, the shades however are a bit off, so if you have the opportunity to try the shades in store, i would recommend it, it feels very light on the skin and its easy to apply, its very matte however, a lot like a pressed powder, i wouldn't recommend using this product alone, make sure you put concealer on first , the coverage is good and lasts a long time, its also a good price and is cheaper than what it retails for.

I’ve always used this powder for a number of years because it’s effective, and light for a powder. I would say it’s medium coverage, but the best you will get with a powder. I like its compact mirror and sponge which is very helpful. Easy to slip in your handbag and dab your face up when it’s looking abit shiny. I think it’s good value for money, and the quality of the foundation powder is good. Don’t sleep with it on though because it gives you spots 😂 and don’t slap it on, otherwise it cakes up. It’s literally just a light powder you can top up on liquid, or wear for a daily basis.

I’ve used this make up for over 15 years. I love it. However, recently when I’ve been ordering the exact same product, I will sometimes get the ‘vegan’ version. Nothing wrong with the vegan part other than it just has a general different feel and a smell! The other one I don’t smell at all but for some reason the vegan one has an obvious powder smell to it and it’s a bit darker. There doesn’t seem to be any way to know which one you are going to get!

Lovely for topping up your skin got on the go or holiday lightweight and good value for price paid has a mirror too good coverage without feeling caked on would recommend

I have always used Max factor products, the facefinity foundation is a great product, have used it for years now in my 70's and still use it.

I must admit I really like MF products, I often flirt with more expensive brands only to return to them. What I love is the colour match, not too yellow, not too pink, doesn't change the colour during the day. Stays on my face all day when used on top of foundation as settling powder. Leaves a dewy skin. Also is brilliant for during the day top ups. I LOVE the compact case and a mirror, for the price it's an absolute bargain! And it's nice and doesn't feel flimsy. I haven't tried the wet option yet, when it's supposed to change into more foundation like consistency. I'll keep you posted.

I’ve bought this powder foundation every couple of months ever since it was launched in 2000/2001. It was the first foundation I’d ever used and - up until recently - the only one. However, the new “vegan” formulation is utterly appalling. It is chalky, doesn’t spread onto the skin properly, looks far too dry / patchy and is also much too dark. Porcelain is now orange and is completely unwearable. I’m devastated that a product I have used for so long has been so thoroughly ruined. Even the sponge provided in the new version is a cheaper, much less efficient imitation of the previous one. There were lots of similar reviews on the Max Factor website until recently but these have mysteriously disappeared… I am writing this to warn others who are used to the excellent old version. When ordering from Amazon, I initially received the original, hugely popular version - presumably while old stock was used up - but recently, the new “vegan” version is being sent. You can spot the awful new version as it has “vegan” on the front and has a refillable powder compact. Having a refillable version is a great idea but there was no need to ruin the formula and swap to a cheaper sponge at the same time! I can only hope that Max Factor will notice the drop in sales (and listen to the feedback of loyal customers of over 20 years…) and return to the previous formulation. Until there is a return to the previous brilliant product, I will be sticking to an alternative foundation. I don’t want to waste any more money on this inferior version.

Love this foundation powder - i find its better on my 51 year old skin than liquids - brush in with good hydrated prepped skin and looks beautifully natural - i cant stand the feeling of foundation - this powder doesnt have to be caked on with sponge, i find a nice finish with big fluffy brush and even gives me a natural sheen this way applying
