Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Water Drop Cream, 160 g

I originally bought this product as I had heard it has a similar effect as the Tatcha Water Cream. I've used Elizavecca hair products before and swear by them so when I saw this was on sale, I snatched it up. Its been about ~2 weeks of usage for me, so here's my review: My Skin: I have oily/sensitive skin and use Adapalene (a retinoid used for acne) almost daily. Adapalene is strong and does interact with many face products. I can use this during the day, well before my Adapalene application at night. If you are using a retinoid, do not use this in the hours following your application as I have gotten burn-like irritation (but I get that with most products after the Adapalene). This product has also never flared up my acne! Product Description: This is a non-greasy moisturizer that melts into water the moment it touches skin. A little goes a LONG way. Since hyaluronic acid helps trap moisture, I use this post cleanse and tone to trap water in my skin, and if needed Ill follow up with something to act as a skin barrier since mine can be compromised. Interactions: Other than immediate retinoid interaction, I have had no other interactions with other skin products. It tends to play well with lots of skin products without being heavy. A blessing for us oily-skin girls. Perfume: This product includes some incredibly strong fragrance. It reminds me of some of my mothers beauty products from the 90's so it gives me some nostalgia, but if you are sensitive to perfume I would suggest avoiding this product, unfortunately. No, its not an exact dupe, but honestly the best moisturizer I have ever tried at this price point. Looking forward to trying the rest of their face products!

My search for a non greasy, non tacky moisturizer for oily/acne prone skin is finally over. I will be reordering this, even my sister loves it, and iquired about it. In my opinion the scent is soft, powdery, & baby like which makes sense due to it's ability to make your skin baby soft! It feels like water going on, it seeps in, seals in moisture and leaves your skin plump and soft. This cream is great for layering under make-up and other products which is very important to me, I started a 10 step K -beauty routine so finding a good quality lightweight but effective gel cream that can be used over and under other products without caking up is imperative. My only complaint would be that the writing on the box is in silver and the box is light blue, no contrast, so it is a bit of a eyesore. I'm not sure if the writing was in Korean or English but being a fan of the Elizaveccaa brand it probably had both. This doesn't bother me much, I still love this product. It's perfect for Oily skin and acne prone skin, albeit too lightweight for dry skin. What are you waiting for you have nothing to lose

Just recieved this today and tested it out on my hand. It's amazing! The droplets actually appear which is so cool and it sinks into the skin pretty quickly. It leaves my skin feeling cooled and smooth and it isn't too heavy. My skin is normal/oily so finding the perfect consistency is important for me. This definately is perfect! I saw a lot of people complain about the smell when i read reviews, but it's not that present to me. Plus I think it smells very nice! A lot of Korean skincare tends to be scented from my expirence so I'm not bothered by it at all. Overall this was great! UPDATE: I LOVE this stuff. A little goes a long way and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft. I'm 100% buying more when I run out. The smell tones down overtime, but I like the smell. It's perfect and I love what it's been doing for me and my skin!

floral grandma (as another reviewer referred to the scent) strikes again! i wanted to love this as a face moisturizer, but the scent was just too strong. the texture (between a gel and cream), waterbreak, and moisturizing factor are fantastic, though, so now i love it as a hand cream. it glides on and feels like it’s quenching dryness. there are plenty of pros if you can get around the scent, it’s fungal acne safe and doesn’t seem to contain much in the way of acne triggers in general. it’s light and doesn’t dry down tacky. highly recommend as a hand cream but just wasn’t for me for the face.

Beauty boxes are a great way to try many kinds of beauty products for a comparatively lower price but I don’t often find one I like enough to purchase separately; this was an exception. Elizavecca products have the weirdest product art but they’re the real deal. This water drop cream feels like a light moisturizer and only slightly tingles on my sensitive skin. However, hyaluronic acid is great stuff and I truly believe this is one step in my skincare that absolutely makes a difference. Please note that many of these Korean beauty products are meant to be part of the Korean skin care method. I apply this after cleansing, toning, applying an ampoule and serum. Many of these products work best to offset each other; ampoules and serums are oily but get absorbed better with complementary creams and moisturizers. Likewise, some retinol based eye creams ‘sting’ when you haven’t prepped your skin with other steps. The ten steps of Korean skin care sound daunting but I only use six of those steps in my daily routine; exfoliating, sheet masks and sunscreen may be optional on most days especially. Bare minimum, I do cleanser, toner, moisturizer. However, I truly enjoy this water drop cream and love it as a daily step. You only need a very small amount and this step in particular always mellows out the oils of the ampoule and serum just perfectly. I highly recommend this in your skin care routine. I hope to keep it a constant in mine!

Not as moisturising as I’d expected.

Es una magnífica crema parece que te estás poniendo agua literal, se absorbe rápidamente, nada grasosa deja la cara perfectamente hidratada y matifica, yo tengo 59 años y esta crema es un verdadera joya, la recomiendo y siempre tendré de reserva.

nunca escribo reseñas , pero la verdad, me encanto esa crema! normalmente las cremas con textura acuosa/gel, o no me hidratan, me dejan la cara tiesa , o me la irritan. con esa todo lo contrario.un poquitin rinde para toda la cara ..y deja una sensacion super fresquita y humectada...aparte es una sensacion que dura buen rato, no nomas en lo que se absorbe...hasta heladita senti mi cara jaja no se si son ideas mias tambien me gusto , que antes de ponerme mi base de maquillaje , si me pongo esta crema , hace que el maquillaje rinda mejor , y desliza a la hora de ponerlo Y sin hacerse bolitas , que es algo que pasa con otras cremas o sueros. mi unica queja es que me la acabé bien rapido jajaa pero ya pedi otra y ya no la voy a usar tan a lo wei. aparte el precio super bien. pd: despues de esta , compre la otra de elizavecca que tambien es de acido hialuronico y azulita, y me gusta mas esta. la otra la usare de noche porque la siento un poquitin mas pesada. las dos muy buenas pero si andan dudando entre una y otra , esta me gustó mucho mas
