Reliable and fast for the money, been solid in my dash cam for months
Picked this up to use in a dash cam and it's been working perfectly. The 128GB capacity is plenty for continuous loop recording, and the A2 speed class means it writes fast enough that there are no gaps in footage. I also tested it in our Nikon camera as overflow storage when the main card fills up and the read/write speeds were more than acceptable for photos. The full size adapter that comes with it is handy too, saves buying one separately. Transfer speeds to the PC are quick, I was getting around 90MB/s reading which is close enough to the claimed 100MB/s. For the price compared to SanDisk or Samsung equivalents, this is a solid option. It's been in the dash cam for several months now through summer heat and winter cold and hasn't skipped a beat. The only reason I wouldn't use it as a primary camera card for professional work is that I'd want a higher endurance rated card for that, but for general use, dash cams, tablets and phones it's absolutely fine.

Reliable memory card
This micro SD card offers good speed and enough storage for my phone and camera — I’ve used it to store photos and videos and so far it works reliably. It’s nice that the full-size adapter is included, so I can use it with different devices. The only downside: the read speed isn’t always hitting the “up to 100 MB/s” — sometimes transfers are slower, especially when moving many files at once. Still, for everyday use it’s a solid card

Superfast write card
I was surprised as to how fast this cards write speed was. Works flawlessly in my Fiio M21. I managed to fill 128 GB card up with my music files in 35 minutes. For an A2 card it represents excellent value for money.

Perfect for My Kid’s Bedroom Camera – Reliable, Fast, and Great Value!
I purchased this Amazon Basics 128GB Micro SDXC memory card specifically for my child’s bedroom security camera, and it’s been absolutely perfect for the job. 💾 Plenty of Storage With 128GB, it can hold days’ worth of video footage without needing to constantly format or transfer files. It’s ideal for continuous loop recording and works seamlessly with our Wi-Fi-enabled indoor camera. 🚀 Fast & Reliable Performance Read speeds up to 100 MB/s are no joke! Transferring footage to my computer is quick and smooth—no freezing or lagging. Rated A2 and U3, so it’s fast enough for higher-demand uses too, like 4K video or mobile apps if needed. 🔌 Full-Size Adapter Included The included full-size SD adapter is really handy—I’ve used it to plug directly into my laptop’s SD slot for easy access to footage. No extra gear needed. 🔒 Durable and Trustworthy It’s been running non-stop in the camera for weeks with no errors. No corrupt files, no disconnections. It just works. Exactly what you need when it’s monitoring your child’s space. ✅ Final Thoughts: For the price, you honestly can’t go wrong. Amazon Basics has knocked it out of the park with this memory card—solid quality, great speed, and totally dependable. Whether it’s for cameras, phones, or other gadgets, this card is a fantastic choice. I’d definitely buy another for other devices in our home.

This is a fairly (and surprisingly) decent Micro SD/uSD card reader from Amazon Basics that's reasonably well-made and for the most part works as expected without issues. It's reasonably small and compact although far from the slimmest that I've come across and tested due to its odd and slanted shape that's just weird. It has a typical plastic shell that's certainly not something to write home about; however, it does have a spring-loaded card slot, which is a surprise to me (and indeed a pleasant one at that). As for its dimension, it's about 25 mm in length at the shortest side and 29 mm at the longest. As for width, it's about 18 mm at the shortest and 23 mm at the widest. Finally, the thickness is about 11 mm; however, the slanted side has a length of 12 mm measured at the surface. As far as data transmission is concerned, it's able to provide the [nearly] max speed supported by the various Micro SD cards that I've tested and the best result is about 175.25 MB/s for read and 155.85 MB/s for write, which is again fairly good. This particular card reader also supports OTG that many others don't, so that's certainly a point in its favor. Before purchasing this, I tried about half a dozen UHS-I card readers from various well-known brands including Kingston, UGREEN, and TP-Link etc. just to name a few. However, most of them weren't able to achieve speeds faster than 104 MB/s (which is the max speed for UHS-I), and for the few that could go beyond 104 MB/s, they were capped at roughly 150 MB/s, which was weird. The max speed for UHS-I is 104 MB/s and that limit is increased to 156 MB/s (full-duplex) or 312 MB/s (half-duplex) for UHS-II; however that requires the use of an additional row of connectors on the cards as well as the card readers that relatively few have adopted even today. ★ In the meantime, proprietary technologies have been developed by SanDisk and others to bump up the existing 104 MB/s limit to something much higher, including DDR200 (170 MB/s) and DDR225 (200 MB/s) and so on. This is the ONLY card reader that I've tested in the last month that's actually able to achieve 175.25 MB/s (max 180 MB/s for the card in question) via UHS-I interface. Kingston used to have one that actually worked (from about 3+ yrs) but that's no longer the case with the new version that's available at the moment, so if you need a UHS-I card reader that actually works to go beyond 104 MB/s at the moment, this is THE card to get. ≡ Value All things considered, this is a fairly decent uSD/Micro SD card reader that's fairly small/compact and works as expected without issues. It's the ONLY UHS-I card reader (out of the half a dozen or so cards tried) that's able to go beyond 104 MB/s (max 200 MB/s claimed) imposed by the standard. I just wish that it has a slimmer and rectangular shell instead of one that's oval and slanted at the rear, which is just odd and weird. It's reasonably priced at $10 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features (i.e. DDR225, 200 MB/s), usability, versatility, and performance.
