This watch keeps PERFECT TIME ! A Herculean feat for a 100.00 watch !

This is an awesome watch it took a while to set the day and date but once it decided to cooperate it's been great. It keeps perfect time and looks way more expensive than it is.

Caravelle by Bulova, It uses three small batteries. It comes with batteries that are no longer commonly sold. Number 371 is the current size for batteries. The battery for the illumination button lasts about 5 or 6 months. I use the illumination button a lot. Replacement of batteries is problematic. Removing the back is like other brands of watch. Retainers for batteries are very flimsy. Back is very difficult to re-install. Face is large with easy-to-read numerals. Day and date are easy to set. Overall, watch is disappointing.

I have been a Bulova watch wearer for most of my adult life. When I saw that they influenced the build and design of Caravelle, I was intrigued, so I pulled the trigger. The watch keeps perfect time, and frankly Bulova should start using Caravelle leather watch bands instead of what they use now. The band is a great quality leather that feels worked in from day one. Will definitely add more of these to my collection.

I work in surveying/engineering, and wanted something durable, but not cheap quality either. This is one of the more classic work watches men have worn through the years. The expansion band is just right...and honestly looks good enough to put on some of my other more expensive watches.

I purchased this watch on 2/25/25. It stopped working every time my husband would slightly bump it. He kept resetting it. I took it to a jeweler and had the battery changed. It still did the same thing. I tried to use the extended warranty I purchased. They told me it was still under the manufacturer’s warranty. I emailed them and have not heard back from them. I would not purchase this watch again. There wasn’t a zero star or I would have chosen it. 🙁

3 stars right now, hopefully that rating can get better. Very frustrating to get a watch without a printed.manual. The 'caravelle watches.com/manuals' address provided on the card that came with the watch brought up some dubious 3rd party manuals which weren't illustrated or accurate. I finally get the time, day and date set lately by hit and miss attempts. Hope two get a genuine manual when Bulova is open in about 36 hours....
