I have used this product for several years and am very pleased with the results. I have grey hair and John Freida's Blonde products keep the brassy color out of the grey.

Normally if a product doesn't send then I'll give it a 1 star, however I ordered the shampoo and it works so well and the product itself is great so I felt like I needed to give it some more credit. The service was so inconvenient. I ordered this product more then a week ago and even payed for expedited shipping and yesterday it said it still hadn't shipped. Today I received an email saying they were out of stock and could get more for months... what? It automatically cancelled the order for me and didn't give me a refund. Such a shame because I was really looking forward to this. I did order again (It isn't out of stock..) and hopefully it will arrive soon.

I was a little concerned by some of the reviews but worked really well. Stopped my hair from turning a lot darker like it usually does in the winter and instead lightened it to a sort of springtime look. I would say two shades lighter is probably about accurate. It took a couple of weeks to start looking noticeable but by the time I finished the bottle I was certain I wanted to buy again. My husband though thought it was working faster than I did. I've been using the shampoo and conditioner and was surprised it didn't trade off the general quality of shampoo/conditioner in exchange for the brightening. My hair is still as soft and clean as other products and the smell is nice too. The natural highlights of my hair are getting more extremely lighter but I think that's to be expected. I'd definitely recommend this product to a friend and will be making it my usual shampoo/conditioner. Also the yellow outside is pleasantly bright in my bathroom :)

shampoo is very strong smelling and not good to use if you have asthma. Clearly this is very strong on the hair also,
