Does this include the maroon tunic gown? Depending on which answer you read it doesn't seem to be consistent

The maroon tunic is not included, just the leather looking parts.

What is the measurements for this?

The front of the body armor costume is 24" wide x 19". (to the decorative buttons) The back is 23"x15.5". The shoulder straps have velcro and are adjustable to a maximum of 12". The sides have grommets to tie the front to back with string and are adjustable.

Still not sure of the size since I'm fairly big chested, about 48. Would this fit me?

The shoulder straps are velcro adjustable to 12" maximum. The front is 24" wide and 19" long (to the decorative buttons) The back is 23"wide x15.5" long. The sides have grommets with string to connect front to back. Whether it will fit depends on how far you expect the costume to go around vs. having the strings showing. Our soldier was a 42. It worked for him, but the strings were at their max. The tunic was a dark color, so the strings didn't show. A similar colored ribbon could be used if the strings aren't long enough. Also, it's not real clear from the description, but as you may already have noticed this is only the top body armor. The helmet, arm & shin guards, sandals, and the tunic are sold separately. Hope this helps in your decision. The costume is nice and looks like real leather from a short distance.
