Great variant.
This is a great addition to the Catan family. It was really easy to pick up on. I suggest playing with knights and cities.

Becoming a Catan fiend!
My family and I really enjoy playing board games together, but sometimes it can become boring playing the same thing over and over again. But with Catan and it’s multiple expansion sets and COMBINING multiple expansion sets… well, the fun is endless. They have multiple scenarios to keep the games interesting and unique. 3 players, on a combined Expansion (this one Dragons + Seafarers), takes about 1.5 - 2 hours. If you have 4 players, you’ll definitely be looking at 2+ hours of game play. Check out those puzzle boards that we also use as a game board to easily set the game aside to clear the table for lunch / dinner. I just wish they would come out with some more organizing / storage accessories for it. But other than that, great fun!
